I've devised a new segment I'll be contributing every now and again, "[Insert number here] Things [Insert name of anime here] Has Taught Us." and will likely go ignored pretty much like everything else I post here, but can't help but try, can I?

Since I've started watching this again I'd might as well kick things off with this:

10 Things Dragonball Z Has Taught Us

1. Screaming in a fit of rage makes you stronger.

2. You'll never again ask for in-depth character development.

3. "It's over 9000!" is the single-most popular misconception.

4. Gohan went from a scared and whining crybaby, to a complete badass (SSJ2), to a joke crimefighter.

5. Not attacking your foe while they're powering up is the smartest thing you could ever do.

6. The Big Green dub (UK) is absolutely hilarious.

7. Everyone, even those from completely different star systems speak fluent Japanese or any of the several dubbed languages.

8. The Armed Forces are completely useless.

9. Apparently Hitler and The Nazis were armed with multicolored ammo shells (Movie 12).

10. It's okay to be an old pervert when you own an island, a private island.
 
11. Mistaking marriage for food may land you a wife.
12. It's okay if the planet is blowing up, you have several hours to evacuate.
13. Don't make androids with the personalities of teenagers, they'll probably kill you.

Yet an hour takes, what 10-12 episodes to expire? Continuity errors...there are plenty. :lol:

Anyways some nasty storms are headed this way. Supposed to hit in about 3 hours. Gonna play some SKYYYRIMMMM like crazy in case the power goes out...

TTGL 27 (Final episode. Definitely don't see spoilers if you haven't watched it :lol:)

Quite epic yes. Everyone gets involved which is so awesome, Nia steals Simon's jacket lol, so much flashiness, the best move names EVER...Super Dimensional Anchor, Infinity Big Bang Storm, My-Wife-Is-The-Best-In-The-Universe (no she's not but what a tribute lol) Swing...wow.

Then happy/sad ending. Nia breaks, Simon becomes an good old explorer, everyone has stolen Nia's messenger suit ):< Rossiu looks comically old (also why did HE get best man :S), Yoko still has decent cups from what I saw, Viral is actually proper good now...what a turn around he had lol!

Overall a super-top-class 27 episodes with change from start to finish, always kept it interesting. 9.5/10.

Damn that was absolutely incredible. Takizawa played the bad guy apparently again to use the NEETs to help save Japan from those 60 missiles. Also becoming King of Japan, what?:lol:
This show, blew me away so much. Now I just got the movies to go through to continue the series. It was so good.:(It became another one of the very few anime I've ever given a 10/10 to.

I MUST own this show!!!!:grumpy:I'll probably get the combo pack.

They don't. Rurouni Kenshin started in the 90's, way before stuff like that would come. Cano gets annoyed easily I guess. He probably for example would find Naruto so annoying he'd go bald.

He should take the Naruto test. If you find Naruto annoying, you'll find lots of characters annoying, and can get annoyed easily.

Why must he say that at the end of EVERY single sentence? In the English dub it's "Believe it!" despite "Dattebayo" having no meaning really.

Thank gawd it's way less frequent in Naruto Shippuden (Which has been plagued with fillers since the end of the Pain arc.).

Note: TheCorvette Inc. does not find "Believe it!" or "Dattebayo!" annoying. Tolerable, but not annoying.

It wasn't annoying in the show since she did it once or twice per episode, but so many put together is just unbearable :scared:

This guy has the greatest episode list I've ever seen. He even tells you which pages of the manga an episode covers, so I just follow his list and skip the fillers.

Yup, because we want to hope the next episode is canon. Personally I don't mind fillers, I actually like them usually. I wouldn't be annoyed really if the show was done (The series is indeed ending. It has less than 3 years at the most. Even from where I'm at in the manga, a year behind Japan I can tell it's on it's last arc.), and I was watching it that way.

However the fillers in Naruto Shippuden have gotten ridiculous due to what's in them (Currently, stupid ship fillers.), and how if you're watching it as it's airing in Japan, it gets kinda annoying seeing one filler once a week.

Back then, I didn't even know what fillers were. I was marathoning Naruto from epi one to about 160. Watching 7 to 10 episodes a day. When I got to epi 140 or so I was like, "WTF is this? I couldn't get enough of this before but now it's so bad I don't want to watch it anymore..." then I learned about fillers and suddenly everything made sense.
 
Fillers, where the anime catches up to the manga too quickly, and frustrates fans wanting to see manga chapters animated./Motivational

Only series I've seen really that manages to make "1 chapter=1 episode" is One Piece. There's literally less than 50 filler episodes (I'm not sh**ting you.). Nearly every single episode is canon. I can't remember the last time there was filler.

Plus when there is filler, it's hard to tell the difference between the filler and the canon usually. One Piece fillers are the best I've seen.
