It's interesting to see the decisions they choose to make in this show. Where I'm at now they are trying to prevent the US landing at Guadalcanal. To make a decision like that... I don't know if I could do it.

LOL you so silly. Would it make you feel better if I tell you I've seen both seasons of Black Lagoon and love that show? However I am also currently watching Zipang and that, sir, is not trash. Also Mirai Nikki isn't trash. Fate/Zero isn't trash. Guilty Crown isn't trash.

I wasn't expecting much of anything other than fanservice when I started that show, but I must say I got a lot more than I anticipated. The cool cars didn't get a lot of screen time but I was surprised at how close they made them look like the real cars instead of how games like GTA usually do it.

Finished Asobi ni Ikuyo!. On top of the expected fanservice the show had some good comedy and surprisingly good action.

When it was done I decided to go ahead and watch the OVA. All I can really say about that is ":drool:". Didn't know you'd get to see the bare chest of every female character. Nice surprise!


Also two funny posters. One for "Armageddon" and the one to the left is "The Godfather". I believe the "Armageddon" poster says Blue Willy at the top. :lol:

Yeah, it really is a surprising show. Also, lucky seeing the OVA before me.Crunchyroll never got it (:grumpy:), though I think FUNimation picked the OVA up with the series.

Also were there really bare chests? If it's only on the OVA and not the uncut DVD's/BD's, it's not shocking. You can get away with so much on DVD/BD, plus censorship of girl's chests at times is a marketing tactic that works very well.

On a side-note, I still haven't bought the manga (Partially to make up for reading scans of it at one time.). I need to get a job.:(Did I forget to mention due to the content, each volume is shrink-wrapped to prevent those from under 17 from opening it carelessly?:sly:

Yup. It was still pretty epic dubbed. But, yeah, I try to watch all my anime dubbed. Some you don't really need the dubbing, and others, like Ghost in the Shell, you kinda do, because if you're reading a lot, then you miss a lot of the story.

Edit: I know this is from a few pages ago. But it's not my fault if this thread adds a good 15 pages a day.

Though unfortunately these days less dubs are being made. More and more shows are being released subbed-only because they can't afford the costs of the dub. I've heard dubbing costs are $10,000 per episode, which I wouldn't doubt much.

The two Gurren Lagann movies, Aniplex USA released them here subbed-only, so if you ever want to watch those, it's subbed-only.

Considering the light novel is still on-going, yes. It doesn't surprise me considering it sold well enough, and the original material is still on-going.

After hours of elimination using my MAL, my Anime-Planet, and this one document I keep a list of shows I've watched (I still update it, it's mainly for the order I started stuff now.), I noticed a few reasons why my MAL and Anime-Planet accounts don't have the same episode numbers, but they're still off by 32 episodes.:dunce:Though at least I figured out that they both have the exact same stuff (Outside of "Plan to Watch/Want to Watch"). So Pokemon Movie 8 was the only thing missing from AP, and Yumeiro Patissiere and Yumeiro Patissiere Professional were the only things missing from MAL.

Alright so I finished a show today, got up to the last episode of season 1 of Mad Men, watched the new Fate/Zero, watched the first 2 episodes of K-ON!!, and got to episode 11 of Zipang. I am going to bed. Night all! <3

Mine is ready to cover some eyeballs, but you know what's the worse part of that? Unless you do something to keep the hair from drooping freely, you have to go through the stage where your hair's always going to be poking your precious eyeballs... I'm in the prologue stage.:grumpy:

I'm cutting it after exams though.

I can, and to my point, only this wekk have we had any rest from the daily song, and that was because the massive work. But now that that's done, I'll return to the daily tune. Heck, if T-12 can write so much about a Gundam every day, I can for sure post a song off youtube. If one day goes by without a song... I forgot, lol.

That's why I want to see the anime versions. I've seen Kowalski god knows how many times, and I've rode in '70 Challengers several times too. But never saw one anime style. Gimme.
 
And for reference, MAL's top anime, going up to 120 (Since they like showing 30 on each page.). It seems over the weekend, many currently airing shows without episode counts listed, or weren't ranked finally got ranked. Seems like they did an overhaul. I'm not so sure if they really update scores twice a day. I noticed Blood+ for example was 500 for a few weeks, now it's like 555.
