Reading the manga eh? I still have yet to get volume 7, and volume 8 is coming out in like January or December. I needs to fill my room with more manga, 50+ volumes isn't enough!!!!:mad:

*As of mid September which is when I last got any manga, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Volume 1 being that. I also didn't include my manga magazines, basically 4 issues of Shojo Beat and dozens of Shonen Jump.

I need to get to experience it to begin with. My promises of streaming the Rebuilds and Lagann-hen never came true. :(

Speaking of the -hens *cluck* I noticed that Gurren-hen is actually a bit different in a few scenes...maybe I should have watched it first. :indiff:

Old shows and manga..... though I'd stick with anime for the voice acting.

If they keep making the Abridged Hellsing series, I'll stay a happy boy... though it's going to take another 6 years to reach the conclusion if they keep doing an episode once a year.
 
TeamFourStar is pretty slow when it comes to releasing eps, but they're always awesome.

I really wish Mirai Nikki wasn't 🤬 censored.
 
Well, they got other stuff to do too.... so I imagine they don't have a lot of time to gather and record voices.

I came. Thrice.

Weird thing is the Heavyarms looks very resin and soft plastic-like because of the way the light is hitting the plastic.

And AGE-1 needs to have it's head fixed. Wrong proportions are somewhat wrong.
 
That Heavyarms looks pretty dull with flat surfaces like that...tell me you know how to apply that grungy "dirtied" texture on them. IT makes them look SO much better.

And whatever happened to PG? :rolleyes:

I think I just realized what you were asking: PG is only an occasional thing. An amalgamation A combination of them (Bandai) having new plastic tech they want to show off in the grandest way possible, and popular suits. Last one released was...last year. Strike Freedom.

More like "Damaged"....

tattered up armor, bullet holes, possibly dirt from hard falls, burns, cuts... hey, even severed limbs with hydraulic tubes cut and leaking.
 
I can do all of those except the severed limbs bit. That requires scratch-building more often than not and I've never sunk my fingers into that.

I think, maybe, with the Heavyarms whomever the modeler was went a bit crazy with the flat clearcoat. If that's not it, I'm going to have to paint the crap out of it. I've got enough unfinished modeling projects as it. Thank you, Bandai.
 
Grab telephone wire (AWG22), use those individual wires as the cords.... that's if the size is appropriate of course. Paint on the rubber, as the paint probably won't stick to copper (I don't know if the paint you use will work on metal).

You can just not attach the arm to the body to make it easy, but if it's breaking model parts, I would break it, and if appropriate, stuff the hollow parts with putty or clay or whatever that will dry and harden, paint over that. I've seen a model where there was a gundam that impaled the abdomen of another gundam with their saber and that was kind of cool.
 
You should know that's neither as easy or quick as you've put it. :p

I take long enough just planning things.

Isn't there a Chinatown near you? Place like those that sell merchandise (especially anime and other cartoon characters) will definitely sell something... Did I tell you I bought a bootleg MG Wing Zero Custom for $10 when I was little? I didn't even know if it was legit or not at the time, and the parts barely fit together....was disappointed people go to the trouble of making garbage like this.

That's not a slight against you by the way, but the bootleggery (new word!).

And yeah there's a Chinatown near, but they only sell the good stuff. I used to shop there all the time until I found Image Anime, and then e-tailers.
 
It was some kind of "G".. HG probably... Yes it was definitely a rip of a HG... I used to look at HGs a lot but never buy them since they costed like $47 where I looked. Look at me now, buying plastic sculptures over $100 a piece....

$47? Sure you weren't looking at HG-EX's? There's a lot of grades, I know.
