With so many shows out there, I still feel though that Madoka is still one of those shows you should watch for someone who is new to the series..

He's talking about the shows being popular in general. Not many are fans of the big 3 in here, but on MAL, ANN, /a/, and more, yes. Though Death Note is the most popular anime on MAL. Bleach comes in at 2nd.

Also on must watches, this might just become one. I'll become the judge of that once I watch it. It's been handed out awards for best anime of 2011 in various categories like crazy from many reviewers.

Just watched the first episode of Senki Zesshou Symphogear. It has a strange concept but decent violence and the show is centered around music. I kinda liked it. I think AOS- and Loli may like it too.

That "failed start" is still better than all of Clannad, but the latter of After Story is really good.
