I was honestly expecting him to go airborne and start relentlessly stabbing the Endlaves over and over again. Causing Daryl mental harm - I would have got off on that.

Even when he was slicing... he was still too calm. I would have been raging like a mofo.

You generally don't feel anything at first when someone dies right then and there. Honestly much better than some of the most "omfg rage" type reactions I see in media. I think they got it perfect for the character.

The anime is starting to turn around. There was a lot of stupid "feel good" stuff at first, but now its getting heavy and darker.

Also, is it bad that I still think Segai is epic? Really quite curious what his goals are now, since he just seems to be manipulating everyone as if they are game pieces.

Continued rewatching FMA:B with my sister, finished episode 26. Goddamn awesome :3


Pretty happy that I have most of the series on my laptop now(dubbed, because the dub is awesome), we're going to acquire the rest of the series as we watch. Oh, and it's okay for me to say this because my sister and I have been buying the episodes off of iTunes.

I still have yet to purchase the first DVD set. I'm still happy I scored parts 2, 3, 4, & 5 for $27 though, I rewatched them all too, so freakin awesome.

Yeah I'll totally give it a 10/10 even if I dislike it.

I haven't given a 10/10 in a while, same goes for a 9/10. My most recent 9/10 was Birdy the Mighty: Decode 02 IIRC, and that was like the first week of January. My last 10/10 was Honey and Clover II which I finished on the 21st of December.

I'll only give it that 10/10 if it truly deserves it in my eyes. I'm expecting an 8/10, or a 9/10 to come out of it.

It's actually a full-on 10/10 show. 👍

Okay I'm calling it. I'm going to like or love NGE. Someone put this in their sig for reference when I announce I'm starting it, and when I finish it.

You will love NGE. It will totally blow your mind and make you immediately regret how you've scored everything you've seen up to this point, because NGE is a cut above even your 10/10's.

It's actually a full-on 10/10 show. 👍

As a whole, NGE + EoE is a 10/10

Standalone, NGE has numerous flaws in addition to one of the lamest endings of all time, which significantly detract from the awesomeness to the point where it's an 8/10 or maybe even 7/10.

Anyway, some quick updates before I hop into bed and maybe disappear for a day or few:

Also, I had an awesome time in Singapore, even if I only got two days there. So far it seems I'm STD-free, but we'll see. Not that I'd have contracted STDs in Singapore, because I didn't participate in any shady activities there. /coveringmyass,GONAVY!

Absolutely not! He's still hasn't revealed his intent. I want to believe he is the wild card to the blend of characters.

Segai is actually what bothers me the most in this anime. He's that typical over the top villain that defies logic: "Why make it simple when you can make an extravagant plan that looks awesome and witty?" but that eventually fails miserably, while the simple way out would have granted him victory. I just can't take him seriously.

Finished BRS 1, looks like it's going to follow the same formula as the OVA. Or at least it did in first episode. Real life stuff then cut to otherworld stuff. Cool, I enjoyed it. Kagari/Chariot is so creepy.
