Anyway, I was telling a friend who is a massive fan of Harry Potter and Doctor Who that they should watch Haruhi Suzumiya, since it's the sort of thing I'd expect a fan of those works to enjoy. Are there any other animu you can think of which might hold up well in the eyes of fans of various different works which are not an animu or a mango?

I would like to thank M. Seseragi aka sierra aka Ra-bit for being a most brilliant Alice artist and one of my favourites ever.
I would also like to thank Alice in Wonderland for being ever so wonderful. (Pardon the pun.)
 
Even among all of the cutie patooties in Touhou, Alice is one of the cutest of all. I wouldn't dare say cutest...that's almost impossible to judge.
She's brilliant. She's my 13th favourite in the series.
That's probably because the best part of her is actually her name.
There isn't a better name than Alice anywhere. Not one.
