Thank you MLP thread.

Was on reddit when I found this guy's anime collection:

That's a massive collection. Anyone got anything close to his?
Nope (And a few imports not listed on FilmAF here), and he owns nearly every single R1 release ever put out (Save for various repackages, re-releases, and standard editions of stuff that already got an LE/CE/PE). Every single week on YouTube he'll have an anime update video, and he has pretty much ALL of the new releases that week. Here's his latest one.

And as you can see, that's everything that came out this week.

Doesn't he have a blog too?

Well as I've read on his videos under the comments there's like nothing else for him to spend his money on so... He's a programmer and makes plenty of money so he's got things under control.

I don't see it as a problem, though I personally would never buy everything. I mainly only go after the stuff I feel I need to have. Used to want to buy everything I liked, even a little then I realized it wasn't feasible, and as I watched more and more stuff, I stopped caring about wanting to own various shows.

As for a blog, I don't think he has one. His videos are essentially his blog.
---------------
I need this so gawdamn much, but if I go for her, it'll mean I won't be able to buy much anime this summer thanks to all the ridiculous pre-ordering I've done...

Thank you MLP thread.

That smacks of Bleedman. Am I right, Nk, or was it drawn by someone else?

Also, @AOS- would you please let me know if any news pops out on these? These are suposedly prepros, if this is true, it's the first new Rayearth product in... heck, maybe more than ten years.

Omocat is the artist. Prints of those used to be for sale, but I couldn't find any on the shop. Oh well, makes awesome wallpaper for my Galaxy S4.

Is there an AUP violation? Maybe I should stop posting pictures.

Blazing to the finish on Macross Frontier. Knew this character drama was coming and I always enjoy watching these get settled.

Mugen ain't got the cleanest choice of words.

And they'd make awesome tees... even though I'm against graphic tees for being kitsch.

I gave credit....Does anyone go back to LP's old song " Somewhere I belong" for Sazabi, Wing Zero, and the Rx-7 models?

Whoever thought of the idea of including Morning Lescue commericals in every Madoka intermission knows how to market. I tip my hat at you.

Figure released for Kotobukiya's bishoujo series, based off illustrator Yama****a Shunya's ideation of a female Freddy. There's one of Jason too. But instead of showing you that, I'm going to show you (yet again) more photos of that Akuma Homura figure that's going to be crazily hyped like Ultimate Madoka (partially thanks to me).

The Freddy and that Homura are a definite ..

I think way too many good things happened in the last episode of Macross Frontier. (spoilers):

By that I mean there was so much conveniently "saviour" moments to turn the story to a happy ending. I guess it was another case to please fans, but come on, Grace finally connects with the queen and barely gets time to wreak havoc, and in minutes Ranka suddenly saves the day. Just before all that, she was powering up the Vajra to wipe out the humans and all it took was one big shout from thick-headed protag to snap her out of it (as if that concept of turning the tides is ground-breaking). Sheryl was on the brink of dying. It had already been announced she was eventually going to die from the brain infection. What happened to all those headaches, fevers and blackouts? Suddenly she's magically all better now. And the direction of the plot seemed to change destinations several times. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but if you're going to start something new, I'd give it time to ground itself at its newest destination for a while than to end it there. It starts with people taking off into space to fight off Vajras, to finding out the idols' voices can influence the behaviour of Vajras and exploiting that, to finding a new planet to inhabit...

Another thing I've found odd is how the topic of protoculture was spoken of in one of the early episodes and has never surfaced again until the last 15 minutes of the series. The very first TV series gets on protoculture for several episodes. The concept is present in Frontier, but it's been so focused on the fold wave emissions from both galaxy idols that it, to me, no longer bares any importance to it. The main drive of the story about halfway down the series is Alto advancing towards his dream. That got fulfilled, but it had nothing about protoculture, the evolution of humans, or coming to a fulfilling settlement with Vajras.

People get hyped from battles, myself included, but that shouldn't entail high ratings unless there was something significant about it or impactful for the plot. I know I should be taking MAL ratings with a grain of salt. I can understand how it got an 8.12/10, but I personally can't see it being such.

7/10. Show's more entertaining than most show's I've seen, but I felt it kinda lost direction part way through.

It accomplished its goal, but it did spend almost all it's time developing character relationships only..something irrelevant to the search of a new planet.
