Just get to episode 5. Episode 5 is the only episode which isn't particularly clever, but it's still genius in a different way.

Not sure how to take that, to me it reads that you are insinuating that I haven't got the intelligence to understand the episodes until episode 5 where the story dumbs down :odd:. Like I said I will give it ago since you compared it to Akira maybe I was expecting something more polish and deep as akira to me even to this day looks amazing art wise

It's not worth the time personally. I don't understand these guys and their fascination with it.

Sorry to say I haven't buddy, I find it hard to find anime locally as I don't belong to any anime related discussion groups or anything, its always been self discovery for me I am not well informed on the subject really. The artwork is normally what grabs my attention first if it looks nice I will investigate more. Thanks for the suggestion I will definatley look it up
 
Well, I went on Amazon with the aim of stocking up on a couple of my favourite series thus far. I tend to buy the DVDs of movies I enjoy online, to make sure the good creators get what they deserve. Same with music.

Jeez, those prices though. I'll definitely have to save up for these. The real kick in the teeth was the price of Yuki Kajiura's CDs and the lack of MP3 downloads to compensate. :(

Umm, I playing Rewrite VN, and Key messed up my feeling! Currently playing Lucia route. I finished Kotori and Chihaya routes, both routes are good. I likes Chihaya route most... Rewrite is best VN I playing!

Finished the first TV series yesterday and will watch Ep. 1 of SAO II after watching the movie special later today or tomorrow. ^_^

Also saw the latest ep of Fairy Tail and asked myself after watching it...

'If Sting and Minerva were married at the time of the Grand Magic Games, is a major falling out imminent between the two?' (/me hasn't read the manga, BTW)

Watched 1st episode of Clannad last night loved the art and tonne a lough I watched it on YouTube with subs not the best quality I am looking forward to the next episode.
