Hah - I was just talking about this last month with a geology mad made of mine - it's a lake next to a river that used to be a bend in the river, but the river's ended up going straight and cutting it off.

Mmmm - back to measurement, a two part question:

What is a chain, and what is its significance to the game of cricket?

EDIT: With cricket, one would think I would know this :grumpy:
 
If you got that right you deserve a medal (being from a non-cricketing nation and all)
