It’s totally backwards because you can often ghost through somebody you’re having a close race with but the car that rams you at 280kph isn’t ghosted. Like W. T. F.
I was watching one of the top guys in an FIA race (maybe NICO TF at Nurburgring?) was having a close battle with a teammate and neither had penalty yet one was able to ghost through the other. There was no rough driving. I think he was just trying to bump draft and instead just ghosting happened.
And then yesterday at Daily race C at Le Mans, several idiots just liked to smash other cars so they wouldn’t even brake for the corner after the 5km long straight. So a speed difference of probably well over 260kph as one car hits another and no ghosting.
It’s like PD is encouraging demolition derbies and discouraging proper racing.
What are they thinking???
