The Ghosting system could be great if it wasn’t completely backwards!

It’s totally backwards because you can often ghost through somebody you’re having a close race with but the car that rams you at 280kph isn’t ghosted. Like W. T. F.

I was watching one of the top guys in an FIA race (maybe NICO TF at Nurburgring?) was having a close battle with a teammate and neither had penalty yet one was able to ghost through the other. There was no rough driving. I think he was just trying to bump draft and instead just ghosting happened.

And then yesterday at Daily race C at Le Mans, several idiots just liked to smash other cars so they wouldn’t even brake for the corner after the 5km long straight. So a speed difference of probably well over 260kph as one car hits another and no ghosting.

It’s like PD is encouraging demolition derbies and discouraging proper racing.

What are they thinking???

I couldn't agree more with you. I've had a problem with the Ghosting in this game for quite sometime now. Its even worse in lobby races.

Yeah just to finish my thought: Imagine if the huge puntings wouldn’t happen because the punters would just ghost through you.

Some would say it’s unrealistic but it’s already unrealistic in that you get rammed at 160mph, are able to continue the race just fine and the rammer isn’t black flagged, even after 6 more punts in the same race!

Totally agree. Had Pole start (4:13:xx, C7 Stingray, 3-4 F40's behind me.) totally ruined at LM the other day at Mulsanne corner. P1, 1.2 sec lead, tagged first gear, ticked the apex, then BLAMMO. Congratulations, you are now in P9. OPTIONS>EXIT.

The algorithm can already read when you are supposed to brake in the braking zones. It will flash a big red brake on your screen if you have it turned on. So it should be very easy to turn the car into a ghost if it is traveling a certain high rate of speed the second it hits that zone.
This would put an end to people getting rammed in the sides or rear of the car by people who continue to ruin the game for everyone else.
