Since we have the black list of crap cars it's only fair that we have one were we post the excellent ones. Here are my personal favorites.

Ferrari Enzo: This car is a complete beast, I've left it completely stock and before I finish any session of GT I take it for atleast one lap around the Ring on Sport Hard tires. This IMO highlights the biggest strength of GT5, and that's the vast improvement in physics. This car combo is extremely challenging, and soon I will tackle it with Comfort Soft. Totally worth the 1mil credits.

PS. the engine is worked in to 690bhp stock!!! Wheel spin in every gear after every bump. This car is not for beginners and not for racers without a wheel IMO, with aids all off this car is a hand full for veterans even. BUT, there isn't a more rewarding feeling than getting a corner right in this machine. (My PB is currently 7:17.xxx on Nurburgring, I'd love to hear if anyone tries it)

Maserati GranTurismo S: For the simple reason of hearing its engine either stock of fully moded, on a good sound system (logitech z5500) it is unbelievable, and it doesnt drive to bad either. As good as any gran tourer.

Honda NSX-R: The handling on this car is bordering on telepathic. IMO Honda made a huge mistake in discontinuing an iconic super sports car, not to mention it had Ayrton Senna's hand prints all over it. Modded or stock, this car is a pleasure to drive, and absolute must have for any driving enthusiast.

mustang mach 1 : fully tuned, 729 bhp, it goes like stink, beautiful noise looks great and handling's not bad either. top notch car.

also it counts as a "classic supercar" so it aces everything it the "nostalgia" event in amateur series. i only used HALF throttle and won by 10+ seconds

Lamborghini Countach 25th anniversary is pretty good imo.
Haven't got to use it as much as I've wanted to though.

Also you've probably never heard of this car but:
Corvette C4 Grand Sport '96, favourite car to race with in the 450 bhp to 650 bhp range. Nice handling and is pretty fast!

I saw the Corvette GS in the used car dealership yesterday.

My favorite so far has been the Ferrari 458 Italia.

ZZII so good...it's scary.

Really.

All hail the ZZII

Best car in the game - period.

It only costs 59,000!!!

550bhp
4wd
1000kgs
Rear / mid engine (can't remember whether it's RR or MR)

Unbelievably good value for money. Simply untouchable for the money.

Dont care what you guys say with your super cars:

Diahatsu Cuore TR-XX full mod ;) trashes most show offs online with their skylines and tourers.

I agree with the Lamborghini, the sound of the car is very nice and since it wasnt in GT4 it got a better treatment than the cars that were just transported over. The handling is better than what you'd expect from a 80s Lambo, and you can see why you needed some muscle to drive those type of cars in those days.

Mercedes 190 Evo: This is a very coveted car among the brand's enthusiasts and for good reason. The driving in this car is very focused, the engine has a very throaty sound and the car has great dynamics, lovely to drive on the Ring, or any other track.

I always buy the Tommy Kaira but have never used it ad it seems borderline too powerful for some races ans not good enough for the rest.

Any version of Honda's Civic, NSX, and S2000, but particularly the EG Civic SiR II, NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car, and Amuse R1 S2000, respectively. Great stock, and even better with the minimum of an adjustable transmission and suspension. Quick and stable in the corners, with respectable speed down the straights.

McLaren F1. It's sheer driving bliss -- enough good things cannot be said about this classic.

Ruf RGT. Stable, fast, handsome (for a Standard), and belts out terrific normally aspirated Flat-6 music.

Suzuki GSX-R/4. When crotch-rockets and go-karts mate, monsters like this are born. Fully capable of destroying anything in its power-to-weight bracket.

Nissan GT-R R32. Run for your lives! It's Gojira!

Isnt the ZZII AWD Mid-engine?

It is a beast. I prefer Premium cars for that interior view. It a personal thing though

My vote goes to the Italia. Partly because of the handling and mesmerizing looks, but mostly because of that dramatic noise this thing makes. Although this car is the best looker in the colours of hell, it is truly heavenly.

I have to be honest and say I have a huge collection of cars, and only a few stand out.

Ferrari 458 - Amazing all-around. The first time I used it I fell in love, and I've remained a huge fan since.
Nissan GT-R - Best AWD I own. Yes, even better than the Gallardo IMO.
Jaguar XJR-9 - Best Le Mans car I've used. I prefer it over the Minolta.
Corvette ZR-1 - Not a fan of American cars, but this thing is well-rounded. It handles well and is lightning fast.

I'd list the Formula GT here but I haven't learned to tackle its controls well enough yet. I have some trouble around turns when I touch the lip.

Audi R8: fast, easy to handle and 4WD drift is just an awesome way to drive this car.

Love this car. Ended up buying two... one that I've tuned to ridiculousness and the other one that's beautifully stock.

Ferrari 458
Toyota FT-86

Both are awesome to drive! 458 is fully tuned. The FT has very little power tuning but has suspension, tyres and drive tuning. Great cars!

Jaguar XJ13 , the looks, the noise, the handling all make me smile.
Lamborghini Gallardo
Ferrari Enzo (some folks don't like it, but I'm not one of 'em) :)
Peugeot 908HDI FAP , just a beast on the track, plus I like the looks of it.

Nissan GT-R '07 - with a little bit of tuning (no need to max it out as this just unbalances the car) it is a joy to drive.

But I'm biased.

My Jaguar XJ220 with racing slicks, full weight reduction, and a minimal HP boost has almost telepathic handling... love it! It feels so light, and is always perfectly balanced in most corners. My car of choice for long races!:sly:

For me, so far, it has to be the Honda S800 RSC Race Car '68. In the events its worth entering in, you can run rings around the competition. I couldn't get the smile off my face racing this against cars with double the horsepower and wiping the floor with them due to the handling of the car.

A fully tuned Mini Cooper 1.3. So much fun. I turn ABS off on tight tracks as it makes the back of the car slide out so i can take hairpins much faster. Raced it online in an under 177bhp race round monaco and won by miles. The room owner got really frustrated when he kept changing the requirements and my car was still eligible
