I just now looked into it and.... holy sh**
Nevermind. I just researched it. YIKES!!! Safe to say we're probably never seeing that car in this game again.
Had to go look for myself and that's OJ Simpson Ford Bronco levels of nope.

Having seen these responses (in addition to @Famine 's initial one), I had to look it up and uh...think I now will add that to the list of "Cars I don't need to see or be around". Perfectly fine with that never appearing in ANYTHING ever again.

Ford Capri (NOT that new thing they're going to inflict on the world).
Yes absolutely - looks horrible doesn’t it?

I was recently playing Ford Racing 3 and I’ve wondered a few of these cars could perhaps appear one day so here’s a somewhat Ford-based wishlist:
  • Ford Mustang GT V8 Coupe Premium ‘07 (the premium version of the 2005 and not much different so why not, and yes the 2005 version was in FR3 not the 2007 version).
  • Ford Racing Puma ‘99 (a somewhat left-field suggestion but a fun car nonetheless).
  • Ford Capri RS2600 ‘71/RS3100 ‘73 (either one is welcome and the RS2600 appeared in FR3 too).
  • Ford Focus Rally Car ‘99 (previous standard car in GT6 and with a couple of 90’s rally cars currently present, it would fit right in).
  • Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R ‘00 (also previous standard car in GT6 so would welcome it to return).

Cars:
  • Mugen Castrol Honda Accord #16 JTCC ‘97
  • Nismo Xanavi Nissan Primera #23 JTCC ‘97
  • Tsuchiya Engineering Toyota Chaser #24 JTCC ‘97
  • Endless Sport BMW 318i #18 JTCC ‘97
  • Racing Project Bandoh Toyota Corona #19 JTCC ‘97
Tracks:
  • Sportsland Sugo
  • Okayama International Circuit
  • Mobility Resort Motegi

Can they bring back Twin Ring Motegi?

Hopefully sooner rather than later. I think it would be a great track for Sport Mode

It’s unlikely but I’d like to see these cars return:
Bentley Speed 8 ‘03
Infiniti G35 Coupe ‘06
Jaguar XK Coupe Luxury ‘07
Lexus SC430 ‘03
Mercedes SL55 AMG ‘02
Minolta Toyota 88C-V ‘89
Nissan Skyline Coupe 370GT Type SP ‘07
Toyota Altezza RS200 ‘98

And some of the cars from datamine are nice:
Audi RS6 Avant ‘02
BMW M5 ‘05
Mercedes 500E ‘91
VW Golf GTi ‘05

I for one would love the return of the Mazda RX-7 GT-Turbo from Gran Turismo 2, its only appearance. Would make an excellent 500PP-600PP car and even better if it could be engine swapped. Also, the return of the Toyota Celica 1600GT. Believe it or not, those are my wish cars because for me that's GT soul. Racing your humble daily driver to hell and back.

That’s what I thought back during Mazda’s 100th Anniversary. We got stickers instead.
It was so ripe to see the R100, any Capella and SA22. Not even the return of a Cosmo. Missed opportunity.

I'd definitely like to see more cars for the brands that haven't had additions in a very long time, like Mini and Hyundai. The former could even get a Gr.4 racer! But the latter could get a ton of stuff, like the N versions of the Veloster and Elantra, and maybe even a TCR Elantra as a newer Gr.4 entry. Plus even the older Tiburon.

I saw that, too, and as much as I like it, I'd personally much rather have a more contemporary Toyota Gr.B car based on the GR Corolla or GR Yaris, whether that means actually licensing an actual WRC car or not. But speaking of the WRC - and more specifically, the 90s era where we've gotten entires from Subaru and the aforementioned Toyota, I could definitely see similar entries from Lancia and Mitsubishi coming. Heck, I could see Lancia getting three Gr.B cars - the 037, the Delta S4, and the Delta Integrale.

EDIT: I think certain automakers that already have a VGT could make another, not only to reflect their newer design philosophies, but also to potentially provide racecars that could fill certain niches. For example, I'd love to see a hybrid version of the Jaguar VGT SV, if only so that brand can get a Gr.1 car. I'd especially like to see Mitsubishi and Subaru each make another VGT, and this time, they could even both be in Gr.B, even if Mitsubishi's hypothetically additional entry would be based on the Outlander or something.
