Should we run a formation lap, or get situated at the start?

I was actually just about to post that. TONIGHT the race is at 9:00 p.m. PST I'll be opening the lobby at 7:30 or 8 to get any stragglers or peole who haven't qualified yet.
 
Hope we can finish the race.

In the meantime I need a plan to over come scorpions GT-R. It's impressive.
 
Curt I was thinking about all of the rage quits and why they happend and I would like to offer you some advice.
This is a small list of things that could be improved upon:
1) not all of the cars on track were from the same class and I think that not all of us understood that
2) you should have the qualifying times posted somewhere, so that we can line up on track in the right order, before you START the race.
3) if we are waiting for players why not run 1 lap races for those of us already there, it would give us much needed practice and help with tuning our cars.
4) you need some way of checking the HP and Weight of each of the entrants before they enter the track for the initial line up before the start of the race. you can use the track settings to do this before the long enduro race. It will give everyone a piece of mind.
5) just start the race series with a few tracks, it will gain popularity and you can iron out the points and standings like the other leagues.
6) have a good set of rules posted so that the drivers can read them long before any racing takes place

ya man those are good points, as far as qualifying times not a problem next week. but as far as rules go most people have been abiding by good racer etiquette. and the one lap races is fine no one ever asks haha. most of the guys who bailed were new and had their reasons we will try again next week.
 
yes once people start racing and realize that it is fun they will stick around for the end result.... I am thinking of a Daytona road course race tonight....how about you guys?

I actually have an entire league set up for daytona, but I despise daytona

I would lime to start this week a new and get everyone qualified for the race this saturday. everyone will be doing it on the full 24 hr. course. I will also post up times in the OP. more slight changes to come.
 
I voted for Formation Lap it gets messy when we did the grid.
 
rolling start, single file, at 100KPH or 63MPH, and make it so the leader starts the race coming out of the hairpin and going up through the Schumacher esses, that way the pole getter takes advantage of having pole, and all should be settled before attacking the Nordschleife section of the track,

sorry mate there is already two IS Fs, if there is nothing else you would rather drive then I could give you my spot. but you'll have to work for it haha
 
The OP has had a few updates, qualifying list, new entries into the league. if your going to be racing with us please vote on the pole. if you have any other opinions please PM them to me or on PSN. also please message me when you would like to get a qualifying time down, time, timezone and date (before saturday).
 
find a car on the OP you desire to use, there can only be 2 of each, then tell curt which car you wish to drive by saying it here on the thread, and welcome to GT planet,
 
I would really really like to do a 4 hour race, either this weekend or next weekend. If anyone has a preference as to when we do a 4 hr. please post up, or I could add another poll?
 
4 hours is good with me, the later the better. Am I the only person in Sp5 and 6 class?:P
