I've missed the last LEC and didn't have any ideas for this one either, so this one is just a quick, and very much a cheaty, livery.

I basically used the Nathalie McGloin logo

I'd made for her Porsche, and enlarged it for one side, and then flipped and rotated it for the other side, and I quite like the end result.
 
FINAL ENTRY

So I had a pretty good idea for this one, I was trying to think of something different from the usual messy angles design or the split style designs when I remembered my Honda Google Earth car. But I wanted a new livery for the Lexus Super GT ‘16. So I had a fiddle and came up with the idea of a Citizen Eco-Drive world time/earth watch. But Citizen’s logo is black and white, so what if the flat surfaces where the earth and the vertical sides black for the branding?

The spoiler image shows the full effect, I wanted to get an on track look for it but couldn’t get high enough over the car...

I dont think my images are the correct size, I tried uploading them to the site but they look terrible and I dont and wont have access to my own PC with photo editing software to resize them, so any help would be very much appriciated!!!

I really like this theme as I’ve done my self some asymmetrical designs in the past, for fun or for LECs.

For this round, I wanted to do an original yet realistic design. I’ve chosen to create a fictional 2019 livery for the Black Falcon racing team.

Most of the sponsors were seen in their cars for VLN or Nurburgring 24h races.

The car is liquid metallic grey, with diagonal gradients from black on the front left to white on the rear right. The squares use 26 different shades of red-orange-yellow to represent germany as much as some red-yellow gradients they already used on one of their Dubai 24h car.

I’ve also added Adam Christodoulou and Maro Engel as drivers because both liked my previous Black Falcon cars on Instagram ;)

Edit : made some minor tweaks (tow arrows,...), shared the livery and added the link

Awesome liveries everyone! Sadly, I lack the creativity to make a livery, so I just stick to watching them or downloading them. Also, are suggestions allowed?

Suggestions about the entries are welcome, but don’t forget that people can only change their entry once (though images can be updated more due to size or settings).

And as @MMX said above, livery requests have their own thread too.

Can I have one suggestion too ? Try ! The goal of the LEC is not to win, it is to challenge ourself on theme or subject that we don’t usually make. And even if you don’t share them, it is fun and rewarding to drive your « own » car (although addictive and time consuming too !)
 
Tribal drawings are rarely used to make liveries unless cars were in pre-production phase. Racing liveries are too mainstream and I'd love to see the kind of livery used on pre-production vehicles, on GT3 cars in the game. You can make the livery in either black and white or color it the way you see fit.

It's not meant to be a theme. I'm just offering suggestions for entrants that's all. However, I'd be happy if I got to choose a theme but I don't do liveries. I do though take part in PMCs.

I was thinking the same thing, but you put it a lot nicer than I would have. And Tribal was cool for about 3 weeks in the late 90's.

I'd rather just encourage people to join the competition. Getting to suggest what you want to see is winners privilege, it's earned - along with the satisfaction - through taking part. 👍
