I'm pretty sure it's not a full roof, but it has the T-tops installed. I have one like that and they fall off whenever I roll the Ruiner....which is a lot lol

It's the Phoenix that has the option to install the glass tops.

Just a few observations from the F.N.G. This concept is a good one. There are a great deal of GTA5 players that spend an obscene amount of time fussing over their car collection. I am one of those that are obsessed with my garages. With this group originating within GTPlanet makes it even more relevant.

A club such as this should not be dependent on one or two moderators. It is slowing down because everyone is waiting for an "official" to set up a session. The scene should be made up of trusted members that can host an event when the notion arises. This should be an un-moderated group where anyone can set up a meet. Everyone has their own unique approach to what a road trip is.

Here are some of the ideas that I would be interested in:

Cops: I really dig the cops gig you all put together but it really needs to be in a more confined area to be entertaining.

Show and Shine: Themed gatherings with a nice cruise planned. Voting enabled for best in show. Current moderators for judging.

One Make shows: Everyone bring the same vehicle and show individual creativity. Same voting criteria as above.

Garage Tours: Gank one of the city buss's (16 passenger) and tour every ones "show" garage and discuss here.

Convoy: Everyone nick themselves an 18 wheeler and hit the road. This could be pretty cool and easy turn into a "Smokey and the Bandit" get together with great potential for photos. A black and gold Phoenix, an 18 wheeler and ton of cops....

Point to Point Cruise: The recent idea of cruising to the marina and sailing off to other locations is pretty cool. Setting up cruises that involve several different modes of transportation could really turn out to be pretty fun.

Off Roading: Everyone loves a nice offroad excursion and I would be willing to be that all of you have a favorite trail. How fun would it be to share your best with everyone.

How does everyone feel about mics? The interaction between players seems to be much more fluid. I was on with you all not too long ago playing the cops gig. I liked it but it was too distracting trying to keep track of the text chat.

I have lurked a few of these groups and keep seeing the same names pop up. The desire is there. Just needs a little tuning up to become something we are all looking for. I am sure everyone has an idea that would interest all of us. I don't know about all of you but there are times that I just want to get into something and drive...

Yeah, it shouldn't really be dependent on one or two moderators, but there aren't really a lot of trust worthy members in here. I moderate WHaT and Ameer's Driver Club that manages a list of 40 people (6 active moderators as well...well 5 since Beef doesn't do anything), but I've been a troublemaker in here, for example. Plus, this club has been off and on activity wise because of nascar's inconsistency with the thread. There has been talk of having some more mods, but it's only been discussed once and haven't been spoken again. Also, having an unmoderated club spells trouble. Believe me.

Cops: Yeah, it's been said before, but this club has yet to do it again.
Show and Shine: Not a bad idea, but every time we finish what is planned, it all goes bananas from there.

Garage Tours: Meh. You can acquire your own bus, but it doesn't hold all 16 people and it wouldn't be wise to discuss it here. More better to do it in the chat.

I'm pretty sure most of us don't want to use a mic. It's hard to make out what people are saying half the time and some would like to keep their voice a secret.

It's hard to find people who wants to drive realistically period, regarding any game. I'm a mixed bag, but I will drive realistically from time to time.

Cops: We do need to make the space smaller.

One Make: Ehh, it's kind of hard to get a car for just one day.
Garage Tour: I don't think that would work too well.

There are some people that don't have a mic (including me), and it's hard to comprehend what people are saying.

I appreciate your honesty. I do get it. I just wanted to plant a couple of seeds. I'm not hard nosed about any of it. While it is irritating when strangers decide to start something it can be a real gas when a bunch of friends completely lose control.

I know there isn't a perfect solution but one can always hope for the best. I have a strong belief that a dedicated group can accomplish great things. I belong to a SPEC racing league (for GT6) here on GTPlanet. It is a spectacularly successful operation. I have been racing with the group for over 2 and a half years and have no intention of slowing down. Pretty cool things can happen if the right people get together...

EDIT: In the Smokey gig, members would man the cop cars...

I apologize for next to no activity. I have been taking care of a race series. I will be adding more mods very soon. We aren't dead, but understand, I won't be able to do this all the time. Katie and I are doing fine as mods, but yes. We need more.
