You have to get better to be competitive with this group. But that's ok, because the best way to get better is to race people who are better than you. And to practice a lot. I'm in a league where I've gotten last almost every race. Just trying to get better.

I always go by the only way to be better is to be against people who are better :D 👍. This race will just get boring for me as I'm getting close to 10 seconds behind.

Remember to be smooth. Concentrate on getting good exits out of the corners. And be as smooth as possible through the esses. Learn the best brake points and save your tires and you should have a good race.

^This. Especially in the rain. Being 3 seconds per lap slower pacewise means nothing if you're keeping it on the track and the person 3 seconds faster than you isn't.

Suzuka is one track that one mistake can cost you a bunch of time. No runoffs other than the 130R turn and sandtraps are everywhere.

More sand traps than whistling straights. (Golf humor) :dopey:

It has caused Super GT to suffer for 1000km. Soon my TWD will do a 360km race here.
Can't wait to see how this unfolds :D, while I watch cars going off in the distance. I'm gonna use the stick for this race.

What do you guys do with your suspension settings? I keep on getting confused on it.

My springs are pretty stiff. If I need more grip, I stiffen that end of the car. If that doesnt help, then something else is wrong.

Sucks that this will be the race I'll miss. I think I missed it last season too.

Your in the 458? Has a reserve taken his spot yet? :)

Either way sounds like there will be a fast ferrari up in the mix.

I won't be able to defend my win here either. My spot is open for this week.

Soooo, can I get my 458 ready just in case?

Sorry must have posted at the same time

I still plan to race DP. Just let ke know of any other openings in GT I guess.

Ok, got my Ferrari Ready in-case. Have to start over since I'm playing on another PS3 due to my other one going YLOD on me.

That's good.

Honestly, I'd prefer if you were in the 458 and FH was in DP (So we got the Max amount of people in the room)

Hey is it possible to get someones suspension settings, please. It is the trickiest part and I got my transmission and LSD working OK.

someone might wanna get a camaro ready too.... i've been trying to sign onto psn all night and no luck!

That should be fixed by tomorrow if its Playstation's fault.

And resh, most of us don't give out suspension settings. It's a spec class, so everyone is in even cars.

And to respond to your "I thought this would be competitive" comment:

It is very competitive. You aren't.

I didn't mean for you guys I mean for me as I can't get competitive.
It doesn't seem even that I'm left in the dirt.

It doesn't matter, I'll still compete and someday I will get up there AT THE TOP

Not sure if my brother will make it to take someone's place, he hasn't came back from his AFL match.

I got a 1:57 by triggers :). Just need fitting suspension settings and learning the trigger controls :D.

I've only started the triggers, so I'll not race so I can practice more. If I raced, there is a chance I'll crash into to you since I've only started (especially the GT cars).

Suspension settings are more a personal preference. If you looked at Polar's settings then mine, you'd never realize they came from the same car. ;)

Got the right day this time... So good luck for tonight guys. Make sure whoever gets in the ferrari does a good job! ;)

Ready for tonight. I'm praying my connection doesn't fail me.

I'm down to a 53 flat.
