I don't see how it could be uncomfortable. But it's pretty much unanimous that you need to practice with the stick and triggers. It'll be tough at first but you will quickly be much faster.

I prefer comfort for my hands then quickness :sly:. I'll try to use the "truck" controls.

How about a Gaz style rocket ship between Mel & Storm but an Ascari earlier :dopey:
 
I was trying out trigger controls and I was amazed.

In Shift 2, the trigger control made me very 🤬 off.
In GT5 however, I think I cam get used to it.
 
So far:
Triggers: 2:00.6
D-pad + Face: 1:58.6
Stick + Face: 1:58.4

Now trying out the Truck controls.
 
You gotta stop with the double and triple posting.

I should inform that the Stick + Face and Trigger control laptimes were not that even (I slipped).

I cant get a clean lap to save my life. I think you are right about the time though. I'm more consistant in the 05.3 - 05.6 range.

I managed a 2:05.2 and the 2:05.1 consecutively, after hitting a 2:05.5, but yeah it seems very consistently mid 2:05's. The 2:05.1 was originally 0.4 up from the 2:05.2, but with the poor exit out of the final corner, I lost 0.3... I think I've found a way of bolting through 130R without risking the cars now. I hope it works on the Aston Martin.

I believe 1:55 is what you want to shoot for.

Wouldnt surprise me if the leaders are in the 54's or even in the 53's.
 
Still haven't been able to improve on the 5.3. hovering in the 5.7-5.9 range. Pushing it hard is destroying my front tires. I would probably have to make 3 pit stops to run the entire race at that pace. At least 2.

It'll be 1:50's. I was in the 1:51's.
