No links that I'm aware of. It's ran by this guy that signed up for Rolex S1.

Apparently there is a website, but I really don't know what it's called..
All good I can't get involved too much with car racing as my online Motocross racing days may not be over yet. (Fingers crossed!!!)

It's too big for my 3ds and I didn't bring a computer.

Pruett/Rojas won DP. Edwards/Liddel won Gt.

I meant who's in the lead on the engine standings (Don't really care for driver's). I also want to know GX.

Its Bmw in DP, Ferrari in gt and porsche in gx.

Dang I go for Chevrolet and Mazda.

A corvette DP will end up winning the champiomship I think. Too many downforce tracks left. The only real high speed tracks left are Kansas amd Indy.

Kansas is a joke.

Who knows. No one's raced there yet.

The layout is lame as.

And you seriously don't have a phone? I'm getting worried here.

What's the point in one. I have friends in person to talk to and Google plus.

Why would I call people. I have google plus to talk to people and talking to them in person aswell which is way better.

It's called a map or a GPS.

Looking at the track map, two areas I see where it's stupid to make a pass is at the Nouvelle Chicane and the Pool complex. Other areas both drivers must know each other is there before and during a pass.

Also beware in overtaking at Turn 6 (or the Grand Hotel) exit. Be careful overtaking inside to exit wide, & if outside overtaking, make sure you keep an eye in the inside to make sure he, or she doesn't crash, bump, or block you at the exit.

*phew!* Glad I'm never making it to a lobby there!

I forgot that I had plans this weekend. Most likly will not make it. I might be able to watch. But that means installing gt5 on someone elses ps3. Does that mean I have to sit through all the updates or will it just update to the newest patch?

As far as DP passing GT, I think you guys will be fine. I've raced in ALMS and FIA here and there werent too many issues. One thing that helps me is to have my map zoomed all the way out so I can see everyone on the track. Helps me anticipate where I need to give room when I see a faster car coming.

We also went by a rule that the slower class must hold their line. Its up to the faster cars to find a way around the slower cars.

As far as times go, my DP is about 6 to 7 seconds faster than GT. Only five seconds faster than the Audi.

Aw dang, FH. Enjoy your weekend though, and if you do install GT5, it'll most likely be just updating the latest patch.

Also FH, the point we're making at the moment is that we're probably going to have one DP posting GT-pace laptimes... Now, if they don't manage to spin/make mistakes on top of that, the gap between DP and GT at the start of the race should keep any slower DP's at arms length until the pitstops.

From ALMS, I know that lapping GT isn't going to be that difficult. 1:30 puts my DP car about ~6 seconds (+ or - 1 sec.) behind. I have a mid 1:35 at the moment, but that was before the season started. I'm hoping I can hit low 1:35 or high 1:34 if I've improved the tune, given I was probably still sandbagging the car at that point.

Hmm yes... looking at the track layout again. Please no silly attempts at overtakes, I welcome as much overtaking as possible but when you get to the grand hotel, or nouvelle you're just looking to buy time!! Don't make bumble go angry :sly:

2 suggestions here...

How many of you have mics? Maybe for this one they'd be useful for helping the DP guys know where were are, and for the DP guys to let us know they are coming through.

And maybe GT starts around half a lap behind DP, might help a bit.

If I'll be eligible for the race I'm just going to stay in last until something happens or there is a huge opening.

@Polar, during Tokyo Qualifying I kept on getting 1:38s but on the race I got 1:36s, so I did improve :sly:.

I might just say screw it and just bring mine with me. Maybe I can get a little action going on with the ds3.
