It would have enough downforce that it wouldn't get launched that high in the first place ;)

Anyways, wasn't the front crooked after?

The radiator wasn't damaged at all. The only problem was the front splitter was bent. They fixed it in 1 pit stop. An lmp would flip over due to all the rear downforce imo.

I'll still consider P2 and DP different as they are 2 different vehicles. I'm glad that DP will get an upgrade though.

You act like DP's are made of some super durable material. They aren't.

Same thing LMP2 is made of except there isn't the winglets and dive planes that will inevitably become debris for cautions that all tge purists will be whining about.

They'll be needing them to keep up bud. They do have diveplanes currently as well. And show me a P2 with these 'winglets' as you call them.

Maybe if p2 didn't use tc and dp got brakes from this milennium it would be a lot more even than you think 💡

You just tried to change the topic...

To try to get my thread back on topic! Lol

Well I'm about to run some laps at nurb..........

Traction Control doesn't give you 5 seconds per lap. 900kg and better aerodynamics do.

No abs was a blast tonight! In future seasons I think no abs may be a good idea ;)

The GT classes have TC (not sure about LMP), I was watching ALMS at long beach last year and they say the BMW has A good TCS.

I would love to be in GT if a BMW or LFA was involved but so far running in my Lexus powered (pretending), DP :).

The LFA doesn't work because it doesn't have aero. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the other cars (gallardo, gtr, sls) being used here.

Also, our GT cars are about 100kg too heavy. That will probably change if we get rid of the Aston if we do another season.

What pretend engines are you running for DP here is a list of legal ones.
BMW 5.0 L V8
Ford 5.0 L V8
Infiniti 4.35 L V8
Lexus 5.0 L V8 (can also be branded as Toyota)
Porsche 3.99 L Flat-6
Porsche 5.0 L V8 (approved in late 2007)
Pontiac 5.0 L V8 (can also be branded as Chevrolet or Cadillac)
Honda 3.9 L V6
Nintendo DP is Lexus.

Get rid of the Aston?!?!:P That was my first choice for this season. I would probably enjoy running a Z4. Don't know if that would be hard to get to spec or not.:/ But I think that would be interesting. Btw, awesome car list. That's amazing.

The current list is only

Ford 5.0 L
Bmw 5.0L
Chevy 5.0L

All the other engines have had their license expire. All engines used in grand am have to be submitted for approval every I think 3 years. This year, all porsche dp motors' licenses expired. Since no team raced them, they weren't resubmitted.

I said the ones they allow not the ones people can use today.

The ones that I said were ones they woud allow IF the engine suppliers submitted a form. The ones you listed are ones that actually submitted a form.

Yes. That list is the list of all the engines approved at one time. I'm sure any of those could resubmit and be approved pretty quickly.

Well, Nintendo DP are going Lexus Style.

You can get someone to do a hybrid car for you, just change the weights of the GT cars as you see fit and run it at the weight you want as well.

Hmmmmmmm.... That's actually not that bad of an idea Seth....

Seth was a co-creator/founder of USCC. I think every single one of his ideas is bad.

This is just his pinnacle, the mistake that will define his stay here on GTP.

Seth, please, stop.

I refuse to be seen near hybrids. I don't want to deal with them.
