I'm raging there at the track since on my first try I got a 2.06 then I can't do better. Then one day I was definitely going for silver, but on the last corner last lap I go off on the inside, all I want is a silver so I can get to level 32, so I can get a R8 LMS :mad:

I wish PD would reduce the gold times down a bit - so that it makes the event more acheivable to those without wheels. And with. :(

I don't to be honest. Before the patch that introduced controller sensitivity, you should have tried the challenge then. I worked my a** off for bronze with the DS3. I was fine with that but I didn't like that patch that allowed everyone to just cruise around to get bronze and a x2010, because lets be honest it really isn't hard anymore. The point of this for most people is that only the best should be earning the x2010, not every 10 year old and their grandmother. Getting those silvers and golds are hard so that's good. I've only managed all silvers and I'm close to gold on Nurburgring.

it took me ages but i golded all of them with the ds3, the 7 sensitivity helped alot along with the skid recovery force


 
maybe someone can help me here? I'm hitting a wall.(didn't find a proper thread)

i just keep getting disqualified on the the Nurburgring gp
when finish in lets say about 2.09sec. then i get 20sec. penalty somehow.
resulting in 2.29sec.
I'm staying perfectly with 4 wheels on track and hit only a couple of curve stones.

I even tried to stay within the white line leaving the pit.
after many times i can get silver now but not having
earned bronze yet.

Wow, 20 seconds is brutal. That really shouldn't be happening, I'd say it's a massive bug. If you're doing something wrong you should get a straight DQ, and on this track you can normally leave the track at several points without getting a DQ.

Aren't penalties only supposed to happen online? This may be a long shot, but try disconnecting from PSN while you're doing the challenge.
 
Decided to have a go at this last night and bloody hell! I have to learn the car's behavior and braking distances very soon because I so far got Bronze in both Nürburgring and Monza, and failed a handful of laps in Suzuka.

I am just so scared of screwing up and having to restart that I can't see myself pushing all I can for even one lap, much less two. In Suzuka I found I had a tough time after Degner, as I did the brief right before the left hairpin, the way I'd go around there would destabilize me for the braking for the hairpin. I still have a long way to go until I am able to actually brake very hard and make it in time for corners, after watching the videos I see how late I should brake but in the game it doesn't always work.

I set sensitivity to 7 and for this challenge only I set also TC to 5, the skid thing on, and automatic gears. ABS is set to 1.

i can't understand also, i made a clear lap several times now.
staying within the white lines for the whole lap.
its every time about 20 sec off and DQ.
trying offline seems a good idea.

i'm gonna try the other tracks today.

I consider myself a good driver however getting these quickly is not an easy task, still trying 4 months on....

i tried this before the update with the old bronze times.
it was impossible for me then but with the new bronze times it should be easier.
as i beaten the time the first time I finished, but this bloody DQ is killing me.
btw with all aids off abs 1 and ds3 sensitivity at 0.
i do not care for gold or silver i only want my trophy.
 
i have given up on the suzuka one. the fastest i have ever gotten was .007 seconds behind for 3 months now. i cant do it >.<
