morano_vector.jpg

Nice Vector, Actually to get a CV8 to the same power as the GTS doesnt take much, all u need is LS1 EDIT, exhurst and extractors should give u about the same.

Has any one seen any holdens with chevrolet badges on them and do you know why there on there?

i see lots, they are there because they have chev engines in them so people like to change the badge to a chev badge. unless it is a export holden then holden rebadges them to chev

I reckon the badge look's pretty cool, maybe even better than the holden ones...

yeah i like the badge better, but it doesnt really belong there

With the VY i reckon the chevy ones look better but not with the VT/VX

*Reviving Thread*

y0! How's everyone? 2004's a busy year for me!

I saw a Silver Commodore SS with Chevrolet Lumina badges. A lady was behind the wheel of it.

harro
well personally i dont beleive in putting chev badges on holdens.
do ne of u here own an ls1?

This thread's gone dead...

Anyways, has anybody seen the new VZ Commodore? I'll post pictures later.

Yah, I seen it, pretty good.

I'm not a big fan of the front bumper on the SV8. But the otehr two are great!

I want

Hey Bob Lutz, I got an idea: Let's stop making the Bonneville, Grand Prix and Grand am and replace them with the Commondore! :D

:D I'm glad you like the Aussie cars! It would be good if they sold them over seas.

They do, Afganistan sells more commodors per year than we do.

Serious? Thats amazing.

Yes, down-under's Monaro-based GTO definately rocks 👍 specially now with the 400 horse LS2, hood scoops and dual exited exhaust

The GTO is good, except for the grille.

I saw that Astra on the Holden website yesterday. Its bloody nice too.

Just wondering. Does anybody know of the VY Commodores use the motors from the VT Clubsports? I was looking at pictures and specs in my MOTOR mag today and they looked alike.

No there not the same, They are both LS1's though.

Coupe4... Is it just me or does everything Holden churn out look like a Commodore? Even that Torana had the body of a Commodore, even if it did have a Vectra front end...

Monaro

Coupe4

Even the Adventra/Avalanche looks like a Commodore wagon!

Coupe 4 is crap, you need some LS2 power like the HSV Clubsport, Clubsport R8 and GTO (HSV).
