The ice cream thread.

It's a very creamy chocolate ice cream with chocolate chunks in it.

Seriously, it may look like vanilla pods in diarrhoea, but it tastes like angels' breath.

Are you referring to sorbets?

I like French Vanilla, Strawberry, and Mint and Chocolate Chip ice cream(though I could do without the chocolate.) I think mint ice cream is very refreshing. Snickers ice cream is also pretty good and Dippin Dots, if you're looking for a fruity taste.

Speaking of Belgian Chocolate, I miss Neuhaus. :( They used to have the BEST chocolate ice cream.

Italian Ice is dope, too, by the way. The only kind we get here is Luigi's, but it's still good. And, no, Famine, italian ice isn't sorbet. It's like flavored ice, literally, but it melts smooth. Luigi's makes Lemon and Strawberry; they're like frozen lemonade and frozen strawberry-daquiri.

Chocolate with peanut butter chunks is the best ice cream EV4R. 👍 👍
Baskin Robbins makes the best peanut butter and chocolate ice cream! 👍

If you have a 31 Flavors near you, go and get some of this stuff!

Are you referring to sorbets?

I guess so. Here in NY they're called "italian ices"...

In Italy they're called "gelato"

You know what...if I ate a piece of a leather boot before...then why not try your belgium ice cream?

*running to nearest Haagen-Dazs*

That looks like poo.
No thanks.:yuck:

Bless your soul if your poop looks like that.

OOkkaayy....:odd: back on topic.

Have you ever made ice cream in you chemistry class using liquid nitrogen??
It doesn't taste bad at all ;)

Hey!

I just came back from the mall and tried a cone of that "Belgium Chocolate" from Haagen Dazs. It was indeed delicious! Tasty and creamy is a plus ;)

You were right Famine

How about a cone with coconut ice cream covered with liquid chocolate on top..u know, the one that hardens after a while. Not bad huh?

That sounds a lot like Drumsticks. My boys had those for dessert tonight, while I had Heath Klondike bars. We went what was in the freezer because neither my wife, my mom or I would go get some Baskin Robbins peanut butter and chocolate ice cream with our Round Table King Arthur pizza.

Funny enough, BR is directly next door to Round Table and they wouldn't go next door to get us some ice cream (the pizza was delivered, naturally). The Chinese Food place will do that for us. Bastards.

awwwww...:(, I thought you were going to post one of your recipies Mr. Chef!
I even had my liquid nitrogen supply with some milk and fruits ready man!!!

I've seen that made several times. Looks kinda fun, but I'll stick to our ice cream maker when I want to make home made ice cream. I guess I'll make some homemade ice cream on Tuesday.

But no strawberry. I don't have any strawberries in the freezer.

I have some Droste cocoa powder, so maybe I'll make Dutch Chocolate ice cream. 👍

Regular ice cream of any flavor is good and all, but nothing beats gelato IMHO, especially if it's pistacchio. Greatest frozen desert. Ever.

It's actually good. When my chemistry class made it I didn't want to try it, but a cute girl made me to. And It wasn't bad at all.

I forgot to mention this in my previous post. I also like McDonalds' Sundaes. Used to love strawberry, but now my favorite's the hot fudge.

But that's not real ice cream. That's the reason why they call it "Frozen Dessrt." It's made with soy, which I'll eat if I have to, but I prefer the real stuff.

Reminds me of those 5qt. tubs of Soy Cream when we were kids. Heh. 4th of July memories from past are creeping all around me. :D

I didn't think so either, but when I came here, people were calling the soft served ice cream as "ice cream". Where I come from, it's "ice cream" and "soft cream".

I don't know why I like the Mickey D's stuff so much. It's really cheap, and must be made cheap as well. I was told that they used to be nasty, but is better now.

I love mango flavored ice cream, I haven't had that in such a long time too.

Otherwise, coke floats work nicely

No, McDonald's Ice Cream is Yogurt.
They switched to yogurt? When did they do this? I haven't had one of their "desserts" in over twenty years.

Back then, we were told it was wheat flour and soy juice. I do admit, they were quite tasty for not being real ice cream.

I think their Parfait is yogurt. Sundae tastes like soft served. I just finished a couple. :D
