In order of hatred:

Cape Ring
Fuji GP
Nurb GP

While I don't particularly like Tsukuba (too short for my liking) it is challenging and can be fun in the right car. The ovals are just boring. The rest I like just fine. I'd love deep forest and trial mountain to have night and rain though :(

I dislike Sarthe, Cape Ring Full, SSR7, TGTT, HSR and the Ovals...
I'm surprised so many people hate Fuji and can't give a reasonable explanation why, the track has great variety of turns, or are people sick of it from Prologue??

Fuji, particularly it's final section is very, very non-fluid. None of the corners really work together to me, so it is frustratingly difficult to get it 'right' and not even rewarding when you do. Nurb GP has the same problem. They just do not flow.

Cape Inside. That silly chicane gets me every time. Have no problem with the other versions of Cape, tho Outside is clearly the best. But Inside has me shying away from 1/5th of one of the recent seasonals.

Used to hate Fuji but of late have made my peace with it. It actually starts to make sense after a while. It is not, by any means, an easy track to pick up.

Suzuka is a great track, just a very hard one at anything beyond Super GT speeds. Degner to Spoon is easily the most challenging stretch of road in the entire game. It's the sequence of the thing that kills. The Degners by themselves would be little more challenging than Monza's Lesmos, and Spoon can be dealt with. But they feed into and follow Hairpin, which can be hairy on both entry (thanks to the kink just before) and exit (thanks to the off-camber pavement kicking the unwary to the left).

Tsukuba: Either PD got a lot of money for putting this track everywhere in the game... or they have a sick love for this track  :ouch::scared:

I don't hate it btw, I just hate it's everywhere 👎

It has to be Fuji, the worst Tilke designed track that exists.
The corners are so vague, tedious and unrewarding, that last sector is so frustrating. Even when you get it right it feels wrong.

I didn't expect the Nurburgring GP hate though, the first sector isn't amazing(the Tilke bit) but for me it's a rewarding track to attack. I feel Tsukaba is also rewarding to attack in a nice car.

The only reason to hate the 'Ring is if you can't drive it XD

👍👍
Well only because I'm god awful at it I'd rather not drive the Nurb full course.

Why do the Canucks suck so bad in Boston?

Sarthe.

Never, ever understood the appeal of that track. It's just horrible.

it's legendary....there's your appeal....it's the same as Nurb. The only reason not to like it is because you can't drive it.

My least favorite track has to be Autumn Ring...any version.

I think its kinda pathetic people hating a track because of a chicane, clipping a wall, being too technical or undulating however... just shows them up as not really being that good at driving really
I'm quite good at the Nurburgring. I hate racing at the Nurburgring, especially online.

Your argument is invalid.

I'm surprised so many people hate Fuji and can't give a reasonable explanation why
Because it is a Tilke track. Straights and hairpins and very little else.

I can do a few laps Tsukuba. 5 is about my limit. After that, I basically can't stand it without shutting my brain off. Cape Ring is a track I can tolerate, but that stupid jump infuriates me every time.

Nurb GP... Can drive it fast, but never feel comfortable there.
Madrid... No flow
Daytona Road... 1st corner and the one leading to the banking always feel so clumsy, I could learn to love it if I put the time in though.
Ovals... zzzZZZzzzZZZ
Fuji... Clumsy last sector, can probably reach an understanding with this track if I put the time in though.

Rome- Too bland, no fun corners
Ovals- Yawn...
SSR7- Yawn x2, but at least its okay for testing top speed. Still stay away from it though.

I also just can't understand the hate towards Nurb and La Sarthe. Both are legendary tracks, and both are great to drive once you learn how. Fuji's last sector is annoying, but it isn't even in my "bottom ten" of tracks in this game.

Sarthe(No chicanes)
SS7
and Nurburgring. It has nothing to do with not being to drive(heck, the game taught you how to drive it sector by sector), I'm just tried of it. 8 out of 10 rooms online are freaking Nordschleife. Then, people have the audacity to run 3,4,5 laps. I have a family, someone in my house is going to call me name and I'm going to have to leave mid race.

The redesign added all those extra run-off areas. It's unappealing, distracting and it diminishes the challenge of the course as one can go off and still come back no worse for wear.

Also, the last sector is simply awful in design. You go from very fast to almost crawling while going uphill through uninspiring, blind corners.

Finally, I liked the simplicity of the older circuit.

Original circuit

Fuji 90's

For the record, I'm not terrible at Fuji but I'm under the camp that thought Fuji was fine the way it was and they made it worse.

Which track in Gran Turismo 5 is that track for you? Which do you hate so badly that you'd rather get punched repeatedly, then be forced to race on?

For me I absolutely HATE, with a passion, Fuji Speedway (all versions), Madrid and Nurburgring GP.

Thoughts?

Add mark20002 and I'll send you a 12 bore.

I hate:

-SSR7: So boring I'd rather watch paint dry...

-Nurburgring Nordschleife: So long it would make a journey to sun look like a walk to the park...

-Indianapolis and Daytona Ovals: So primitive and simple it would make a neanderthal look sophisticated...

I love:
-Circuit la Sarthe
-SSR5
-Madrid

Pointless ovals, disjointed Fuji and disappointing London. Apart from that I don't really have a problem... and that includes Cape Ring and the GT designed circuits.

Monza!!! It has the flow of falling down stairs. Huuuge straight and then suddenly you're stomping the brake pedal through the firewall. None of the corners give me any satisfaction at all.

On the other hand I like Cape Ring.

Why moan about fuji? the track was designed to catch drivers out if they were new but give 4 or 5 different lines for overtaking near the end. Here's a little video about Fuji complete with a race to show what I mean.

If you find it hard then you're falling into the 'trap' this track was designed to have.

I also always wanted a motorway track for testing so ssr7 was a nice addition in my eyes.

Tsukuba is a nice little track, though i have only the 9 hour endurance to do on it left (excluding the 24hr races) on A spec and i have to say maybe thats 9 hours too many, the 4 hour one was barely tolerable but 9 hours... :dunce:.

Cant say i really hate any of the tracks though if i did i'd say any of the course generator tracks.

My hate track would second and third part of Trial Mountain, which is pretty bored for me, not much of scenery except wall of rock surround by dense and dead forest. Not just that, it's the also the most difficult to take a perfect shoot for photo race.

The second would be SSR5 variant, any of it, it's just too 'quiet'. Blank if i have to say.

Eiger K Trail, it's just too long and too slow for rallying. At least for me.

Mt Aso too would make into this hate list, it's just too green and too tight. I can't take it. :ouch:

Needless to say, i don't hate Cape Ring, to me, it's just like Nurb Nord. of GT5 but with wide track and fast flow characteristic. Suzuka too, it's just fast and challenging track. Fuji, gee, i really love every difficult corner of it. Especially the last corner, you could lose and win on that very corner. 👍

The ovals are fine for all of a lap but after that i find myself falling asleep!!!!!

Tsukuba 9hrs is a race that i have been shying away from because its short laps will make you feel like you've been driving F…O…R…E…V…E…R !!!!

Personally can't agree with the Nürb-Nord dislike. This track, especially in v & 24hr format, is the games crowning glory!! SO technical, SO challenging, SO edge-of-your-seat, palm-sweatingly*,nerve-wracking. BUT, and its a BIG BUT, when you finally drive a clean, fast lap, and you will have to put in hours and hours of practice and laps (and then some more!), nothing, and i repeat NOTHING, is more rewarding!!!!! Once its 'sussed', everything else seems redundant!! (just my personal view)

*i realise that this is a made-up word, but it sounded good!!! lol !!

Probably an unpopular choice but I have to say Laguna Seca, other than the Corkscrew and the following corner it has nothing to offer me.
