Me too...the QX56 one-ups the ugly factor. It makes a vehicle that's supposed to be taken seriously into:

By the QX56 do you mean the one that was a rebadged Armada?
 
Always hated the Infiniti QX... Such a hideous thing.

Not sure if anyone's posted this yet. But I remember when the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander was announced and thought it was horrendous. And finally saw one on the road and thought "wait, they actually released that!? And someone bought one!?"

The first time I saw that, I actually thought it was a 2008 car. But then I saw a commercial then I was like:

I like them but I think my car taste is stuck in the late '90s early '00s. I hate most new car styling and dont get me started on Chris Bangle's "flame surfacing" BS which is everywere now
 
One of the biggest disgraces to car design is undoubtedly Chris Bangle for these:X3,X6, 5 Series, 6 Series, 1 Series, 7 Series, 3 Series (laste gen) Thank God he's now at Samsung!

The 6-series is only one of the lot I find truly ugly. There's nothing wrong with the middle 80% of the car, but the two ends look like they were designed by various committees that once penned for Daimler-Chrysler.
 
Not sure why, but I don't really mind some of the Chris Bangle BMWs. Mostly the 3-Series, 1-Series, and 5-Series. Mostly in specific higher trims though.

The regular Sonata isn't bad. Especially in the Limited trim, however, the Hybrid in the photo is the worst offender. With those wheels too. 👎

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the 2011 Acura RL was awful when it had the Acura beak grill. Majority of the vehicles got a major design change (apart from the crossovers), but the RL only got a small change. And an ugly one at that. :yuck:

haha, I think Top Gear is right about them; the Cygnet/IQ is nothing, but a glorified dishwasher.

Actually, I believe the actual designers were...

E7x X5 & X6: Pierre Leclerq
E90 3 series: Joji Nagashima
E60 5 series: Davide Arcangeli
E63 6 series & E65 7 series: Adrian van Hooydonk
E82 X3: Pascal Tanghe
E8x 1 series: Chris Chapman

You can criticize Bangle for allowing it, but he was only ever head of design for BMW, not a designer, it was his job to take things in a direction, and employ the designers to do it. Van hooydonk (the actual designer of the bangle-butt) took over from Bangle as design chief, then got promoted, the head of design is now Karim Habib, who did the CS concept and the current 7-er.

It is, but I just posted it because I have a slight dislike the for headlights and rims.


Um, I don't quite like the look the Porsche 914 tbh. I think the body style is quite funny looking.
