Since our other thread was off topic....and originally started talking about the Evo....and how it was a twin SCROLL turbo...not a twin turbo....and progressed into ........The king of all Japanese i6 engines.......

Now.......The king of all Japanese inline 6's.......

Rb26DETT....

Because Tofu..the 4G63T isn't on par with the RB26DETT.....And you didn't read any of the forum before...because if you'll notice..all of these engines are i6's from japan.

Trust me...if this wasn't just i6's I would have put quite a few more engines in there.....and the 4g63 still wouldn't be on the list.

The other one wandered off topic, this ones in the wrong forum...

*click* move...

Isnt on par? Are you kidding me? They may not be capable of 1000hp quite as easily as an RB26DETT but I guarantee you stock that this thing will keep up. And I didnt read any of that last forum? Maybe you werent reading my posts in there. I dont feel that these I-6's are superior. And just for the S&G's....... lets do some 400m times in some vehicles with our weapons of choice... You take a vehicle with a RB26DETT and I'll take a vehicle with a 4G63...... Totally stock.... and lets see who gets the better quarter mile time........ no TCS. Are you game?

See milefile...you would vote.....If you knew what this was about...but since this got moved to this forum..everyone who reads this won't know what we're talking about so they won't vote...which is retarded......but you know..what can ya do..a mod moves it, he moves it.

This poll is just about the best japanese inline 6 engine

Rb26 fo straight fo shizm.....
The 2jz's are nice...I personlly like the UZZ more than the 2jz GTE in the soarer...Nothin wrong with a V8 in an import....anyway..The RB26DETT just appeals to me alot more.

How is the 3S-GTE engine not on that list? It was in the Castrol Supra and many racing cars, not to mention it was the engine shown during the intro of GT3

I believe its far more superior to the 2JZ, because of its ridiculous drivetrain loss and low end...

I read what you wrote. I read this, which is in fact the title of this entire thread, and the subject line that is posted at the beginning:
King of all engines
You asked for the "King of all engines". The king of all engines is not a Japanese I6. It's the Offy.

Isn't it a 4 cylinder?

Maybe, and just maybe, that's why it's not on a poll about the king of all Japanese Inline Six engines.:odd:

Holy crap...Josh read it...We have an intelligent Moderator here...Attention attention.......
Anywho, yeah....Neon, you would realize what we were talking about if you read the thread at all, but you know...I don't blame you...because this thread got moved for no good reason...considering the topic was a very heated discussion goin on elsewhere...anyway...Keep up the voting:D:D:D:D

None of those. IMO it's gotta be the Rover V8 (I think it was originally an oldmobeal engine or something - Cano will tell you). It's been around for years. It was used at one stage on F1 cars (well a derogative of it anyway) and I think has to be ONE OF THE most easiest tunable engines around :) . Just my opinion anwayz.

Rover V8 with supercharger.

This poll was moved here because it's about real cars. Hence it belongs in the Automotive forum. Is that rocket science? No.

This poll is just about the best japanese inline 6 engine
Then perhaps you should have put that in your subject line, mmmmmkay? Especially before you go copping an attitude about how stupid people are. Before you do that you should take a second or two and double check it's not you who's being stupid.

Ships my friend.. And if it ain't rocking your lawnmower, they have a 14 cylinder version as well ;)

Neon.....The "title" didn't have to be changed in the forum it was in....Because everyone there knew what was goin on....if I KNEW it was going to be moved, maybe I would have changed the name

I moved it. And was nice enough to leave a re-direct to it here. You're dicussing real life engines, hence real life cars.

WOuld you like me to edit the thread title to read "the best japanese inline 6 engine"?

Out of the selections, I would choose the RB26, because it hauls arse and has a nice torque curve. If it was out of all engines in the world...

Bugatti Veyron's W16 quad turbo!!!
