OK, now I'm officially confused about that VR lap. I tried supersofts myself and there's no way I could use that little battery, having only around 10% left when exiting Mulsanne and dropping to 0% between Indianapolis and Arnage. The car also seems to accelerate and decelerate at a phenomenal rate - full weight reduction perhaps?

My lap times now stand at 3'21,3xx on hards and 3'18,xxx on supersofts. Really getting to the limit at this point, doing a high 3'20 on hards is possible but it'll take some serious trying.
 
I didn't really try but I wonder if with or without BOP activated the hybrid regeneration and release strategy is the same.
 
Not exactly, the 80.2 kg/h is the maximum instantaneous flow rate, which define the peak power output through thermodynamics calculations.

However they also have to comply with a maximum consumption in kg/lap per lap which sets the length of each stint to about 13 laps. But they can play with this limitation as this is meant through 3 consecutive laps. I’m not sure how they apply this restriction during qualifying as they are just looking for one perfect lap...

They indeed can exceed the amount of fuel per lap, as long as, in any 3 consecutive laps, they don't exceed the average amount of fuel per lap, but that only applies on race itself. Audi mastered this as a strategy, using the "extra boost" in crucial times of the race.
In qualifying it would be pointless to implement a fuel allowance per lap considering the average of three consecutive laps, considering those three laps can very well be a out lap - fast lap - in lap sequence.
 
I managed a 3:18.5 something on soft tires.

I lowered the car to minimum ride height and stiffened the springs to 4.15 front and back.

The TS050 takes kindly to minimum ride height when it comes to top speed, and with the straight being smoother than past iterations, you're not gonna get punished for it.
