does anyone agree with me that this is a wonder car?....i have to race my brother and he uses that car...its a bit unfair i drive a RX7, and it always starts off wit him taking the lead

its called traction lol. using 4 wheels for drive provides a much quicker launch from a stand still.

i think the rx-7 is a better car...the evo isnt really meant for road racing, while the rx-7 is basically a race car. the rx-7 should still win in a race, even if the evo gets to launch from redline.

hmmmmm....... hey why dont u practice tackling rumble strips. it kind of like a gutter move like takumi's tech. but it not a gutter. u see and rx-7 has its advantages over the lancer.4wd cars are slower than fr on the turns. practice chasing your oponet.

it depends on how he drives... if no loss of grip occurs... ie tc on and asm on and straight racing is on hte line... get used to the rx7 by racing seattle over and over again against your ghost... use the pads becasue they will help you turn... esp before the long straight... check out you rx7 settings to make sure that the evo and rx7 have eq hp and the gear setting on the rx7 arent limiting its acc and its revs in turns...

if you are drifting as should be done in a drifters forum... you should have no problem getting in front of him on turns and keeping him there... the rx7 fc or fd has a tight turning radius and you should be able to keep speed in turn with proper placement of acc... try to increase you exit speed and distance on the straights... while 4wd has much greater initial acc its mid/ high range acc is worse thant he fr drivetrain... if you can minimize the amount of time you sepnd in lower speeds you can minimize the advantage the 4wd car has...

the lance is a hard car to beat however... 4wheel drive can be tuned to acc fast off the red line and in medium gears... just practice and have fun

thank you very much bengee...you helped me alot! you see i do drift..but seattle is a hard place to drift on...+ once i loose control on one corner...i get extremely careless and start driving crap. and plus the road seems to be smaller in 2 player :(. my brotherdrives extremely carefully...he grip drives so there is no chance he loose control, i mean even if you do you gain control really easy dont you! even ive drived it before

yeah it is extremely hard to drift right off the bat while in 2 player mode even if you are really good... try changing hte window viewing from the reg to the tall and skiny one... its easier at least for my friend and i...

so is that setting calleed narrow?...i mean i can do it when my bro aint around...he cant even beat my record for the track...but i still loose to him in a a race

if you're racing, throw on some Super Soft tires. Grip is faster 90% of the time so you probably shouldn't be drifting if you're trying to win a race.

y not drift if you wanna win a race... its more fun...

anyways there are two ratios for screen viewing... they are in the options first thingee... select the viewing option other thant he one selected... it should be a ratio to squish the screen... it makes the split in two player side to side rather than one on top of the other... which is kinda easier

oh really ,i can win races with drifting ....most of track my favourite midfield, deep forest ,ssr15wet ( forget ) etc ...
btw i didnt like grip anymore since i found drift ..10q for u all
the drifters.

I can win races by drifting too, but he said he's losing to his friend when he Drifts while racing and that he loses control sometimes...sooooo.....Grip racing would definitely be easier for him if he wants to beat his friend:D

maximize power, maximize grip. set the car to oversteer, but not to drift. make it so that it requires very little steering input but doesn't smoke the tires.

BUT... he wants to drift... and it can be done... just dont get frustrated and race your race... if he cannot beat your time... most likely its just that you are not used to drifting in two person view... be more conservative in your drift and try your best not to loose control... dont panic when he comes off the race line... you will get him eventually... its harder to drive grip to full potential than drift at full potential... or at lesat if you sually drift it is

so do i ... i only drift in races now... in every race every day... which means i dont do much ff... i use super slicks, slicks, and sims... 👍

ah same here... :)
well actually reverse mostly fr and mr and 4wd a little less... not saying i dun like 4wd... saying there are less cars...

I drift with FR 95% of the time. I like drifting 4wd occasionally, but I just like how smooth FR drifting is. I have a couple 4wd cars that I can drift consistently without using the ebrake and those are fun, but I hate having to use the ebrake to start every drift. That's why I don't like drifting FF. I've been practicing though and I'm getting better at it, but it's alot different from FR.

ok guys maybe later because now im start to drift with mr
first choosen is mr2 or nsx ...standard tune of course SIM tire ...
i loved drift with sim . i can do ame like all d1gp driver do i mean feint ....its feel great but i cant send vids ...:(

lol its all good niether can i... try the speedster out and the espirit... i judge all mr drifts by how they feel relative to my speedster at 300 hp on slicks... sims are great fun too... but i am not as good with them as i am with slicks... just dont like going slow...

yeah I'm not a big fan of sims..I don't like driving a car that's impossible NOT to drift. You come into a corner and the back end slides out even if you don't want it to. I like using some grippier tires so you actually have to make the car lose traction using different drift techniques.
