I don't see it???

Ill give it a few more hours. You'll go "Ohhh, duh. How did I miss that?" When I say it

No HPD in the subtext, but Strakka's in the picture? I think that's a choice, same happens with Lola (and Rebellion's cars are depicted too)

Strakka is the lone HPD LMP1 entered, but JRM is shown too :ouch:

Very large images of the TS030, notice the slots behind the rear wheels directly above the triangle shaped 'legality panel'

Interesting evolution of the rear wing package on the Toyota for Spa.

Don't aero packages at the Spa rounds usually wind up at Le Mans?

I wasn't aware of that, but it makes sense that it would translate that way. Long straights, sweeping esses.

Yea more likely Toyota will use this aero package at LeMans. We shall see.

No they don't.

In previous years when Peugeot competed against Audi it was always pointed out that Audi ran with a Le Mans setup whereas Peugeot ran with a Spa setup.

That was used as an excuse for Audi's lack of speed in comparison.

Forgive me if I sound stupid, but what's the difference between GTE Am & GTE Pro? Is the "Am" class for slower drivers rather than actual amateurs?

Pro is for pure Pro drivers. This years car allowed.

AM is for at least one amateur driver, rich businessman etc, who probably bankrolls both Pro and AM cars in GTE. The car must be at least one year old specification wise.

Thanks for the explanation. I wonder, what's the Lotus logo doing on the Rebellion Racing LMP1s? Did Lotus have a hand in its development?

Nope. It's a Lola, Lotus is a sponsor.

God please no. Car looks hideous.

Headlights used in testing make the car hideous? Im no fan of the large light cluster, but the car is far from hideous. They may change the design of the light cluster but keep the same lights.

Besides, hideous is the new fast in Le Mans racing ;)

Although I wouldn't say that about Toyota...

Sorry but that's just my opinion. They need to go back the light cluster setup like the one in you avatar.

Definitely a case of function over form. If it works better - use it. Looks count for...well, zero.

I'm pretty sure Toyota is more occupied with making a winning car, rather than trying to please everyone with a good looking car.

I wonder why they did change the light cluster. Taking too much juice from the super-capacitor?

Because I still think they have a completely different front end to bring to Le Mans. I refuse to believe we've seen the finished 2013 TS030 yet. Since Audi copied Toyota's rearwing from last year, I guess they have some new stuff they don't want Audi to see until the race arrives.

The 2012 car will be racing at Spa, maybe you can ignore the #7 if they run these lights

:ouch: They run from the electric of the cars battery, the capacitor is separate:tup:

CORE Autosport is going to debut their 997 RSR at Laguna this weekend. Pat Long and Tom Kimber-Smith at the wheel, running on Michelins. I know who my new team is...

They took delivery of the car around Sebring, and have been testing since. All in all, another GTE car just makes the ALMS better 👍
