I believe he had rides on GT1/GT3/BES, not sure on wich car he was racing where.

I'm guessing Toyota was never able to repair the other car after the Le Mans wreck?

I dont think thats the case. They only ran 2 because it was Le Mans. They only have 1 Full-season entry.

Yup! I remember the Radio LM guys talking about that and how the ACO wanted them to run 2 cars the whole season, Toyota met them halfway by running 2 cars at Lemans.

Ah, ok. Kinda sucks, but there was abunch of unexpected variables going into 2012, Like Audi sweeping the rug from underneith them with their own Hybrids (which looking on it now, we should've expected it seeing as Peugeot were proudly displaying theirs), Peugeot Pulling out before mounting a rumoured four car assault including the hybrid, and ACO having them speed up the process due to said pullout.
 
If Peugeot had timed it better, they could have got at least ONE privateer team (Oak, most likely) to run the Diesel 908. That was a missed opportunity. Remember the Kolles, Oreca and Goh Audis?

Yep, though I've noticed a significant lack of those those after Kolles ran the R10s. No Priveteer R15s or R18s (and they have a nice set of the three 2011 debut cars).

I think they changed the regs each year, making them not eligible after the R10.

And give it one more year of the tech secrets being out, and Audi will approach someone to run the 2011-spec cars.


Imagine if Dyson snagged a 908, and Muscle Milk got a R18 2011.

Could've sworn their was a rules change regarding the width of the LMP cars for 2013, unless I've misread that.

Width? Yes.

General Aero and Max Displacement was changed quite often.

Edit: Oh, I see. I think they are allowing Grandfathered cars for a couple years...

I don't think this is true. Petit is October 20th this year. Bahrain is September 29th. There isn't a WEC race scheduled for October 20th.

Note: This does not change the fact that Toyota probably won't be at Petit.
 
Could've sworn Fuji was on that same date, unless I've mistaken that with another race.
 
Ok cool, just curious, since Audi usually commits to a few ALMS races including this one.
