New wheels on the BMW. They look very strange.

They've actually had them for a while now. I like them. It's definitely something different, but that's not bad thing.

CorvetteGuy80And wow I guess Forza really is taking over.
Forza 4 is the official game if the ALMS. They're partners.
Corvettes are 1 and 3.👍
So no ALMS for future GT games?
Alright guess I can look more forward to GT6 then. Not necessary. Notice they never say "Exclusive"(unlike Codies and the F1 license). That licensing could easily be in other games, just comes down to how much Dr Don Panoz wants.
GT can always look forward to the ELMS and maybe FIA GT. So it is no big deal.
Or, they could just model the cars without having to go through the series period. In fact from what little I've seen of Forza, I don't even see any sort of "official ALMS series" in Forza so clearly the licensing doesn't seem to be any kind of issue.
The #17 Falken Porsche ran out of fuel as it crossed the finish line! Great drive for 4th.
hawkeye122Hopefully there no rule like in F1 about needing a liter of fuel left in the tank...

Ok, back on topic... Anyone know if the ALMS site will have some kind of watch again replay thing of the race?
Sweet! I'll check it out!I think the whole race broadcasts get added to the video section. Could be worng, but I recall seeing all the 2011 races in full length on the site.
The Lotus is just a difficult situation, Alex Job is doing a great job in developing the car but Lotus have so far turned their backs on the team and provided no real support. The case of Jaguar was the opposite to that, Jaguar was willing to provide the support but the team wasn't really the best out there, those cars where shipped over to europe and are now beign raced on GT3 trim on the Blangpain endurance Series. On a different note, it's great seeing the Lotus Evora in the ALMS. I learned of the challenges in trying to get that team up and running. I don't know Lotus too much for sportscar racing. My only memory is when that beautiful Lotus Elise GT1 raced in the 1990s. I hope the Lotus Evora team can continue to develop that baby and make it just as competitive as the other GT cars. I kind of liken them to be like when that Jaguar used to race in the ALMS.
Just to say again- welcome back to sportscar racing, Viper. That is a beautiful car. After seeing the Viper Competition Coupe so much, it was so much in need of an updated model. Hope the new Viper will be every bit as competitive as the Vipers of old.
It'll get there! There's no way Chrysler will let the cars be just back runners, I expect to see them at or near the front by this time next year!
Im sort of hoping that Ford take the "Next-Gen" Mustang GT racing. Then we would have a battle between the Big 3, which could get good.
Remember how long it took BMW to get up to speed? They never really stopped Road racing, Chrysler did. I'll say its going to take them at least next year before being competitive.

I'd rather see there Ford GT Replacement do that. My ideal racing scenario for the big three: American thunder on the world stage (Viper,Corvette, GT) and Pony car wars on home soil (Camaro, Challenger, Mustang). Part of that is thankfully coming true next year, I'd like for the first part to come to life as well![]()
Is there even a GT replacement? That was why I picked the Mustang..

Supposedly, its been said they were working on one (Can't confirm how true that is, but thats what I heard earlier this year)

!
You sure? The ALMS Jags are technically GT2 spec cars, Blancpain runs GT3 spec cars. Unless they extensively modified it?
