Le Mans-Rules and Regulations
LMP1
This class consists of more modern prototypes with open **bleep**pits.
LMP2
This class is for the older Le Mans cars, such as the Ford GT and
Nissan R92CP.
GT1
This class consists of cars that have been released into production, but have
only sold a few copies. The sole purpose of these cars are for entering the
slower GT class with a fast car. Examples are Toyota GT-One, Mercedes
AMG CLK-GT-R.
GT2
This class is for production cars sold in the millions, made into Le Mans race
cars. Examples are the Dodge Viper Team Oreca, Chevrolet Corvette C5-R.
DRIVERS AND TEAMS
If you are going to sign up you need a team (it can be just you). Up to five
people per team (probably won’t be much more than 2 a team anyway). Just
pm me in this format: Team Name-Car-your name-Number. Also, your team
members need to use the same car. If there are color variations, it would be
wise to use them.
CALENDAR
May 8-15 Free race at Circuit De La Sarthe 1. Not an official race!!!
Arcade Mode - Single race - 5 laps - mild tire wear - pit penalty.
There is to be no modifications to your car, exempting tires. The top 3
people will need to send me a replay via pm (use a flash drive or other form
of video, might even just give me a photo of your total time). The person
with the lowest total time will be awarded 10 points. Don’t forget to set the
difficulty to 10.
UPDATE
This is how the races will go:
Say the event starts on a Friday, then we have practice until Sunday. On Monday we start the race. It will end 2 weex later.
For practice send me proof of your time and the top five times will get 5 bonus points. The points for a race will be in this form: 1st 20 pts, 2nd 19, and so on(for each class).Proof of your time will get you 5 points. If I make setting restrictions, proof of them earns you 10 points.
After each session(a session is a race or a practice) there will be a press conference held. If you want to sign up, give me your e-mail(might wanna pm me that one, never know how much spam you'll get).
