Hey can I join. Lotus have always been one of my all time favourite car manufacturers. I've supposrted them since I was a little kid. I remember seing Jony Herbert managing to qualify the last of the Lotus F1 cars in 3rd position for the Imola GP in 1994. They got a new special engine from Honda and it flew. Although he was taken out in the first corner by Mika Hakkinen. Bastard Fin :mad:

. O well. I've got some great pictures some where of the Lotus Elise GT car at Le Mans I think and the Lotus Esprit GT car from 1996 at Brands Hatch going round druids. I remebered they were pretty quick as well. Anwyas, I can't upload them yet because I'm away for the weekend so I'll try and do them for when I get back.

oh yeah you think could join this club... Lotus and porsche are inspirational car makers

in my book the super light is still the one and only super seven just with a different badge. I mean who designed the original car and where wer ehte right bought from. I give caterham a great deal of respect however for snatching it up with lotus decided to drop it and move on.

And Bengee and Shannon, I can beat you both. I've seen the V8 Esprit Race car in GT2, got pic's of it, and meet Tiff Needel who drove it for some time.I've also sat in teh road going version of the Elise GT car.
