Of course in my points system both teams would have scored in every season and Caterussia would currently be ahead of either Lotus or Sauber...
You need to submit this to the FIA.

If I recall, F1 isn't the only place he's trying to leach off as I read somewhere he's also doing some shady things with the Lotus P1 program.
He did say he'd prefer no Caterham, Marussia etc. and have 3 car teams.Sad really, I wonder what Bernie makes of it all.
Wow. I even make puns without knowing it...@legacyMACHINE, chequered, I see what you did there
The sport's reputation is the bottom line, without the image you don't have the sponsors. If it's correct that Bernie intervened in Kolles' alleged blackmailing of Toto Woolff earlier in the season, and given Kolles' history in the sport, I wonder if Bernie might just pull the chain on him now.
I think that's completely unworkable and that you're being totally unreasonable. I mean, how can anyone suggest that the sport use common sense to solve its problems when they can use DRS and something something something profit! Only the Weyland-Yutani Corporation has a better business model.Of course in my points system both teams would have scored in every season and Caterussia would currently be ahead of either Lotus or Sauber...
So there is only going to be an 18 car grid at the US GP?
Just for context and perspective, how responsible was Kolles for HRT going under?
I'm not sure where all of this dislike of him is coming from, to be honest.
Yes, 18 cars.
Well, he's been involved in blackmail, intrigue, liquidation-scandal and dentistry. His business dealings within F1 have not always seemed transparent or honest (even by that sport's standards) and there's a building whiff of corruption around him and the family members who sit as directors on Kodewa, the heavily-involved investment board.
Vettel is in the pitlane so yeah. 17 max.Possibly 17 as a literal start grid.
An interesting rant from Axis of Oversteeer. http://blog.axisofoversteer.com/2014/10/the-day-f1-pyramid-scheme-crashed-rant.html
There's already a thread about an article with a similar title; is the US definition of a pyramid-scheme something different to "usual"?![]()

Insert joke about an American F1 race without a full grid.
Not a bad idea, but it would likely only widen the gap between the top teams and the rest... I mean, you'd have to be pretty committed to subscribe to the Caterham channel.
I'd watch the Minardi or Andrea Moda channel.
I've changed my mind again, this IS another Kolles scam. That's not say Fernandes is innocent by any means but Kolles is a nasty piece of work, in my opinion.
I think he represents the bad side of F1 in terms of taking as much money out as he can, no love for the actual sport.
People like Dennis, Williams, Jordan, they've all made significant personal guarantees and risked bankruptcy at one time or another through their love of the sport. I think Kolles is as far from that altruism as it's possible to be, with Fernandes somewhere midway. Waiting for his luggage.

Edit: Speak of the devil, here it is
