On Saturday, June 19 on Pay-Per-View; there will be a boxing event called "Tribute to the Kings." Featured in this night of boxing awesomeness are Anderson Silva, Julio Cesar Chavez, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Hector Camacho Jr., Ramon Alvarez, and Omar Chavez. It sounds like a pretty good fight night for you boxing fans this weekend. But... according to some YouTube comments I read from the promo commercial, this all seems very UN-entertaining.

Enjoy whatever MMA or boxing you're into!

Mark your calendars, boxing fans! On July 24, 2021 on Pay-Per-View, we got Wilder vs. Fury III. The first meeting ended in the draw, and the second meeting ended with Tyson Fury downing Deontay Wilder. This would be the "rubber game" if Wilder won the first meeting. But anyhow, Wilder will get another crack at Tyson Fury on July 24.

Last month, I got a chance to see some videos on boxer Naoya Inoue. This dude can fight! This Japanese boxer seems like a younger Manny Pacquiao. It would be cool if one day Naoya Inoue and Manny Pacquiao crossed paths and had a boxing match.

Sad news in the boxing realm. Apparently, COVID-19 cases have impacted Tyson Fury and his crew. So the upcoming Wilder-Fury III has either been postponed or canceled.

What we WILL have, though, tonight is UFC 264. The big match on the card tonight is Dustin Poirier vs. Connor McGregor. It's BOUT TIME, GTPlaneteers! Enjoy tonight's action from Las Vegas, Nevada at T-Mobile Arena!

The Wilder-Fury III fight has been rescheduled to October 7. COVID-19/Coronavirus cases among Tyson Fury's camp prompted the postponement of this fight from July 24 to October 7.

UFC Fight Night is tonight on the NNA front. Makhachev vs. Moises one of the matches for tonight. The action begins around 7 PM Eastern time for the preliminaries.

Enjoy whatever Boxing or MMA you can see this weekend!

Heads up!

On right now on ESPN, UFC Fight Night is going on! Among the matches for this week's UFC Fight Night, it's Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw as the main event. That is a Bantamweight Bout for 5 rounds. Enjoy any boxing or MMA this weekend!

A few notes to pass along...

* GTPlaneteers... it's BOUT TIME! Tonight is UFC 265, and one match on the card tonight is Lewis vs. Gane. Check out UFC 265 exclusively on ESPN+.

* Last month, it was declared that Amanda Nunez tested positive for COVID-19/Coronavirus, and so her scheduled fight had to be postponed. I'm sorry I didn't report this earlier.

* In boxing, we have a Pay-Per-View battle between Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence, Jr. Their Welterweight World Title fight is slated for August 21 in Las Vegas, NV, USA. I don't know too much on either fighter, but I do know the Pac-Man is pretty dope in the ring. A win for Spence Jr. over Pacquiao could immortalize his greatness.

Tonight, it's Manny Pacquiao fighting Yordenis Ugas for the Welterweight World Title. I probably won't be seeing it, but this should be a good fight on Pay-Per-View. So go enjoy this or any other boxing or MMA action this weekend!

Manny Pacquiao will run for President of the Philippines in 2022. So it looks like a lot of his boxing career will be over, especially if he wins election. The Pac-Man is still one of the best-ever boxers today.

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will battle tonight for the third time. This heavyweight boxing fight pits two hard-hitters against each other. The first match between these two ended in a draw. The second meeting, however, resulted in Tyson Fury defeating Deontay Wilder. Who will win the third meeting between the Bronze Bomber (Wilder) and the Gypsy King (Fury)? You can find out on Pay-Per-View tonight!

There will be UFC Fight Night going on tonight also. I haven't seen tonight's card, but I'm sure there will be a lot of good matches tonight for you UFC fans.

Enjoy whatever boxing or MMA action you'll get into!

I thought wilder looked incredibly stiff and just unhappy in there. he didn't look like he enjoyed one second being in that ring.

A big night on Fight Island is tonight in the UFC. Starting around 2 PM Eastern time and on ESPN+, a relatively stacked card is tonight. Enjoy the action if you will be watching!

This Saturday, UFC 268 is on in New York City, New York, USA. One of the matches on the card for UFC 268 is Usman vs. Covington 2. The even will be shown on ESPN+. I'm sure there will be a lot of preliminary matches before the big featured fight at about 10PM Eastern time this Saturday. So if you want to check out UFC 268, check it out on ESPN+. Enjoy this weekend's action in UFC, and in any other boxing or MMA that interests you this weekend!

It's Fight Night, GTPlanet! Tonight in Top Rank Boxing, we have a World Welterweight Championship bout between Crawford and Porter. The action will be on ESPN+ tonight at 9:00 PM Eastern Time.

A lot of action tonight!

If you're a Top Rank boxing fan, we have a bout tonight at 9:00 PM Eastern between Lomachenko vs. Commey.

This is the final UFC Pay-Per-View of 2021 with UFC 269, and two fine matches comprise tonight's card. One of tonight's matches is Charles Oliveira vs. Dustin Poirier. C. Oliveira will have his first Lightweight title defense with this fight. The other involves a women's match between Amanda Nunes and the "Venezuelan Vixen," Julianna Peña.

A few days ago, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul knocked out former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley with a thunderbolt of a punch. He KO'ed Woodley deep in the sixth round of their fight. Stephen A. Smith noted on "First Take" that we should not buy stock in Jake Paul until he fights and consistently fights against real boxers. Based on what I seen, though, Jake Paul at least stands a chance in the boxing ring against established boxers. Jake Paul is a pretty big dude. I could (believe it or not) actually see Jake Paul as a boxing champion. I read Jake Paul is 6'1" and in the cruiserweight division.

Jake Paul's brother, Logan Paul, is 6'2" and also a cruiserweight. I haven't seen much of Logan Paul except for seeing his appearance on WWE once as a guest. Maybe I'll need to look him up to see what he's about as a boxer.

Kattar vs. Chikadze is one of the many fights lined up tonight for UFC Fight Night.

On February 5, Premier Boxing Champions have a stacked card for you all. On Pay-Per-View, check out this card lined up for you all:

  • Thurman vs. Barrios
  • Santa Cruz vs. Carbahal
  • Ramos vs. Lopez
  • Nery vs. Castro.

This PBC boxing event will be in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA at the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

UFC 270 is this Saturday on ESPN+ and Pay-Per-View. Among the fights on the card is Ngannou vs. Gane. Both fighters recently made weight before their clash, so we're all good to go for when this fight gets off proper.

Enjoy any boxing or MMA action this weekend!

Here are some random news and notes in boxing and MMA...

* The boxing fight between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte is told to be set for April 23. This is a WBC Heavyweight title fight.

* Mark your calendars for May 7, because Charles Oliveira will battle Justin Gaethje for the Lightweight title at UFC 274.

Enjoy whatever boxing or MMA interests you this weekend!

It's BOUT TIME! Here in Houston, Texas, USA; UFC 271 will happen at Toyota Center. Among one of the fights on this car is Whittaker vs. Adesanya in a World Middleweight Championship fight. There will also be a match between the "Black Beast" Derrick Lewis against Tuivasa in a Heavyweight Bout. A cool story about this event is that Derrick Lewis is going to be celebrated for passing 50 drug tests. I think he's passed 57 total drug tests, but he will be honored. Also, Derrick Lewis is a fellow Houstonian. Sweet story.

Some other fights on tonight's card: Cannonier vs. Brunson (middleweight bout), Phillips vs. Rojo (bantamweight bout), and Green vs. Haqparast (lightweight bout).

Anyhow, enjoy this and other MMA or boxing events you're interested in! The fights will start at 8:00 PM Eastern time.

Tonight...

* In UFC Fight Night tonight, we have a card that includes Font vs. Vera. The action begins at 7 PM Eastern on ESPN and ESPN+.

* In Top Rank Boxing tonight, get ready for a card that includes Valdez vs. Stevenson. This coverage begins at 10 PM Eastern on ESPN and ESPN+.

UFC fighter Charles Oliveira was stripped of the lightweight title after failing to make weight. This is the first time a UFC fighter has been stripped of his/her title because of failing to make a certain weight. As I understand from a Tweet I read... if Justin Gaethje defeats Oliveria in UFC 274, he's the new lightweight champion. However, if Oliveira wins, the UFC Lightweight title remains vacant.

Enjoy any MMA and boxing action this Mother's Day weekend!
