My first quote I put up was going to be from the same film, but I changed it.
 
We need to do something like in the movie quiz thread with the eras. Like 80's, 90's etc. Maybe even genre. But that might be giving away too much.

BTW, I just found out where the latest quote comes from:

"charging a man with murder in this place was like handing out speeding tickets in the Indy 500."

I never would've gotten that.
 
Ok so it's not Dragnet, it's not Killing fields and it's not Judge Dredd. Though it is set in the same time period as Killing Fields (though it's not all in the same location - clue) and I'll give another clue, it's not an 80's film either. And a Scottsman who's name differs from my own by a single letter knows what it is. Come on people, there's not too many films it could be.

Ding ding, we have a winner. Apocalypse now. Though I must apologise about part of one of my clues, it was missing a word "though it's not in the same location - clue" should have read "though it's not all in the same location - clue".

Clue Number 1: The movie is set "in the now". Could've happened yesterday, could happen tomorrow...

I was going to say that Pierce Brosnan film, "after the sunset" but I don't recall Hollywood and Miramax having a large part to play in the story.
