The El Nino on NFS3. That car's acceleration was blindingly fast and it could reach a top speed in the neighborhood of 230 mph!
RedOakYou guys are missing the point once again. Need for speed is not targeted for pro racers, its made for guys who dig bodykits and paintjobs on hot cars of the moment.
...nothing's changed since hot pursuit 1...
The MW and Underground games is not even Need for Speeds real roots, Need for speed was based around not tuning or modding your car. While getting chased by cops, at different times in the day.Jedi2016Bull... ****!!!
I take it you've never actually PLAYED any of the original NFS games. You know, the ones that had actual TRACKS to race on instead of driving through a heavily-populated city? I'll take that ANY DAY over what they've done with their last three games, which are NOTHING like what came before.
Nothing's changed, you say? Look again, bub... EVERYTHING'S changed.
I agree. Hot Pursuit 2 was the best IMO.TVR&Ferrari_FanI loved HP the most.
Have you ever played HP2 on PS2? It's the best version of the game, since it was made by a different producer than the PC and Xbox versions. I have both the PC and PS2 version, and you can tell the quality difference between them.RedOaki'm the opposite... i understand why everyone is saying Hot Pursuit 2 was the best, but looking back at it (i installed my copy) its not that good. The game is not 'sandbox', which makes Most Wanted a lot better in terms of Pursuit 'survival'.
So, of all the NFS games, NFS HP2 is "the one" to own? I always wanted a NFS game, but never got one. I was waiting for the "It" version that everyone had to own, but it never came.FatAssBRHave you ever played HP2 on PS2? Gabkicksi owned "Road And track presents the need for speed: the special edition" as well as hot pursuit, high stakes, hot pursuit 2, underground2, and Most wanted.
I actually enjoy Most wantedi just wish it had ferrari, honda, more cars basicly and more mods. I keep most of my cars looking close to stock but its nice to know i can change the look if i want.
Most wanted has some really nice graphics. i really like the sun glare effect and textures, rain effects... i hope Gran turismo 5 has something similar but less exagerated.
i like how they dont force you to rice out your car in most wanted![]()
No one forces you to add visual and NOS mods, all the rice... I race perfectly fine without them. NFS:MW is the best I've played, it has free roam (so you can just drive and drive), awsome cars, good customization (I don't use the body kits, but if I wanted to for ****s and giggles. I could) and addicting gameplay. It's good!RobcioPLHow about this, they leave the engine mods, and drop the gay NOS and all the rice you can put on your car.
It would be nice to have engine mods and suspension mods, the game would be better then PGR.
Most Wanted isn't an Underground rehash.Jedi2016That was a rumor, and was debunked as false. EA has released no information whatsoever on what the next NFS game will be.
If they do end up making yet another Underground rehash, I will be very, VERY disappointed. The PS3 needs at least one real NFS game before they go back to the crap.
RaghavanMost Wanted isn't an Underground rehash.
Hot Pursuit also is about illegal street racing, with tons of cops. MW is closer to HP because you don't have to rice your car like in Underground, and there are much faster exotics in MW than in Underground anyway. It's like HP but in an open city and more ricing possibilities.Jedi2016Uh.. yeah, it is. As long as they keep up with the whole "Illegal Street Racing" thing, it'll continue to be Underground-esque. You didn't think I was referring soley to the worthless mods, did you? I could give a rat's ass about the mods. I miss real racing. Driving around a city just ain't the same thing as driving an actual lap-based race course. Go play Hot Pursuit 2, then Underground, then Most Wanted, and then tell me which one Most Wanted is more like. It's a helluva lot closer to Underground than Hot Pursuit 2.
And before you ask, yes, I've played them all.
