Thanks to a spanish forum friend, who is a betatester for the european version of GT5P, the new circuit will be HIGH SPEED RING.

Damn! I was hoping the AU version (which i presume is same as EU?) will have the 60+ cars like US! So EU and AU also get this 6th track i presume?

It's a case of you get what you're given

But Grand Valley would have been nice though

Yes, I like it basically, the same as Midfield. But old original circuits need redesign, give some bumps to make them more "live". But in case of high speed ring it's just pure computer geometry and no fun for me.

Lando, do you have any proof that High Speed Ring is in GT5:P?

No, we only have his word. But he is a serious person, he is also Home betatester, he thinks the circuit is not finished yet, tha water is plain blue without effects, the textures are bad and there is no people on the steps.

I will ask him for photos.

Like Jase, I would much perfer Grand Valley or Special Stage Route 11 (probably won't be in the full GT5). But HSR is still a classic and a decent track.

Maybe that's the whole reason right there . One of the easiest to add with only a little reworking.
And No disrespect but to LANDO and his friend but this is still to be officially confirmed .

Yeah . If GT5P is to be released in the EU when people are saying 28/03/2008
I'd have thought there should be something along soon.

That´s a bore. HSR is IMO the most boring circuit in GT4, excluding Tsukuba of course...

Tsukuba is my second favorite track in GT4!

but I agree with you on HSR.

High Speed Ring is a good circuit for tuning cars for dift in high speed and long corners. That's about eh only thing I found it useful for, and seeing as the tuning in GT5:P is only quicktune and won't allow any work on suspension, makes it a useless track.

Since I didn't expect Nurb or Spa (or any other high-profile circuit to be honest) - while I've kept my fingers crossed for LeMans (as it was shown in Prologue engine during last year's race on Audi's R8 event) - HSR is a nice addition.

It was one of my favourite circuits form the first game, and although I didn't like visual revamping done in GT4 (bridge and lack of grass areas in favour of concrete), I'm pretty much excited with possibility of HSR in Prologue.

Racing any MR or high-powered FR car on S1 tyres will be quite a challenge on PRO psysics.

Sure there are better circuits, but they have to save some surprises for GT5. I actually love the high speed ring, probably a lot more so than the london course IMO.

I can't wait to see them photos that Lando was talking about. However he might not be able to get them so we will have to wait and see!

There's no way SONY would sit by and let a beta tester give that out. Jordan would pounce on it in a minute.

I'd rather see another track myself, but High Speed Ring is a good track for high speed race cars, like Midfield is. If anything, this is a sign that we'll get a decent roster of race cars, like LeMans cars, which I'm all for. I can't imagine that a race around HSR with Cappuccinos and Miatas would be anything but a snoozer. :p
