but I think they will have more stuff ;)
Like the stuff that was supposed to be in GT5 but didn't make it to the release?

Either way, by the time GT6 will be out, I'll be playing FM6 on the next Xbox anyways

High, low beams and movalbe parts were only for premiums for GT5. Those were not present in other racing games during that time.

Look there is no shame in admitting it. The next GT game will be more polished game with improvement like graphics, game modes and so on ... but I think they will have more stuff ;)

I wouldnt care if high and low beems were never ever present. New and better tire physics is waaayyy more important to most of us.

They could put all the high beams horns and moveable parts in the trash and give me back the number of events GT4 had.

You sure about that?

High & low beams are not a feature worth listing. Most people do not use them.

Movable parts did not exist in other games? Sure you want to claim that? Because NFS Hot Pursuit has movable parts & it was released before GT5. I'm actually quite positive there have been other games that have done so even before that.

So, it's fine for GT to do this, but Forza can't? Again, go away troll.

The fact is those headlights was for night racing and they had two of them. I am just saying Forza4 has 5 more tracks and other game modes.

I hope they have rally and 10 trakcs have day/night cycles. That will be great for everyone more content is always good. If they have it then other racing games may also consider. Rewind and other options are not important for sim games or so calle king of racers

Only as far as you actually know, since they haven't released all their content yet.
What's annoying is that you say this is all GT6 will probably do, but you criticize Forza for it.

BTW, what happened to your claim, bro? Resulting to dodging your BS being called out now?

Just give up man. He is a GT fanboy. You might as well be arguing evolution vs. intelligent design with a retarded 5 year old.

I will be happy if this game turns out good sim and has lots of content than the 5 tracks.

I think next GT game will have more content I mean even GT5P had 6 tracks.

What? You don't honestly thing FM4 will only have five tracks, right? I mean, you can't be that dense, can you?

Wait, wait, wait...you don't think FM4 only has 5 tracks, do you?

EDIT: tree'd

lol I mean more than 5 new tracks. I know other content will also be there from previous game

Actually Tokyo Extreme had high and low beems. That started along time ago.

I doubt Turn 10 is trying to compete with any game, putting rally in is not their goal.Their goal is to innovate new technology that gets car lovers in to gamers and gamers in to car lovers. Ex- Autovista. If I want to play a rally game, I would play a proper game (Dirt 3, WBR). Also, you said everyone enjoys more content, rewind and other options is more content and is always good.:sly:. Also, where on earth did you hear that Forza 4 will only have 5 new tracks?:odd:

I think that FM4 could be a great racing if they re-structure the online play based on the FM2 multiplayer, allow me to elaborate:

The thing about games like FM and GT(using it to reference purposes, not bitching about)is that they need an effective classification system to created good races online.

Now for those who played FM2,multiplayer was very well done and very well structured for hardcore players(Tournaments, championships, trials and XP races),and it had sever list for regular players and players who wanted to earn credits.

Now,in FM3 this was removed to create the match making system, but the problem with it is the ranking for the races, very often if you race online you will always find at least 2 or 3 drivers that are either rookies or crashers, and there is not "only pro level" races mode, due to the matchmaking.

In GT5 prologue,PD tried to create an stable structure in which experience players played with matched players, and it was a complete failure due to the quality of the online game,in GT5 now they decided to split online into seasonal events which are the set of tournaments and stuff that FM2 had a while back, and individual server list, which fits better on online racing multiplayer.

Now they presenting several online features for FM4(the car clubs for example),and I think that those features are complete useless, what the game needs(and its unknown to the moment)is the usage of the FM2 online structure that worked perfectly for both hardcore and casual fans,by putting FM2 online features with Matchmaking system for casual races.

If they do that, that will be probably a well done multiplayer experience that might make the game be better.

I think that FM4 could be a great racing if they re-structure the online play based on the FM2 multiplayer, allow me to elaborate:
What was scrapped when going from FM2 to FM3 was the ability to create custom public lobbies. Those are back. That has been comfirmed. So you've got the best from FM2 and FM3 for FM4's multiplayer mode.

Except tournaments, that hasn't been confirm yet,and better special events(like the gallardo events in FM2)

Tournaments will be there. Special events may be as well, it depends on what T10 wants to do.

They have a few months to reveal more about online.

Is there going to be a Limited Edition? I'm holding off on the pre-order to see if they announce anything, if they don't I'm going to do it before I lose out on those three (four?) additional cars.

I want my Agera.
:D

T10 arnt pushing the "racing simulation" angle as the franchises Raison d'être, and that a wise decision imo.

Sure the purists will freak out, and claim they watering down the racing simulation, but in all honesty they arnt doing that at all. The old GT formula that Forza orginaly copied has become really stale even for the hardcore car enthusiasts, the genre that PD started needs to evolve and expand into other areas that arnt directly related to racing round and round a circuit add infinitum, or collecting every car like some sort of pathological hoarder.

I like that T10 are looking at expanding into other aspects of car culture, they already have deep level tuning and customisation, Painting and artwork, non-racing car driving activities, the auction house and storefronts.

So their looking to expand into new areas, and that should be a good thing for all car fans, because the old GT formula is too narrowly focused to maintain my interest in the game for more than a month.

I'd most certainly count on a Limited Edition/VIP-esque copy being available.

Anyone catch the bit where Dan exclaimed the AI auto-upgrades now?

BTW is there a version which allows you future free DLC?,I mean premium edition or something(to avoid that card purchasing stuff again)

I've got something in the lines of "The AI will be as good as you would be", the only thing I can make out of it is that the AI actually mimics your driving style, which would be quite amusing.

Besides anything else, I'm absolutely loving the idea behind Autovista. It is just everything a car guy ever wanted in a game. :O

Did Dan elaborate on wheel support? I'm itching to get a XBOX tomorrow, but getting a new wheel just for it would be expensive and risky. :scared:

Why on earth would they do that....

No doubt we will just get the usual exclusive car pack with the collectors edition + 1 exclusive car depending on which retailer you buy the game from.

The problem i have is that some times the dev release the collectors edition cars as DLC a few months later, which imo defeats the purpose of puchasing the CE version, and completely takes away the exclusivity of the CE cars.

The MadCatz (Saitek) wheel is the FM-equivalent to the DFGT and priced just as sensibly. Don't instantly go "Ew. MadCatz" either, yes, their products are of shady quality but Saitek, Cyborg, etc aren't. They're very well accepted in the PC scene and I don't expect their quality to drop a few notches just because they're making way to a console.

Then you have the new Fanatec wheels which look to be the equivalent to the T500RS and G25/27 and are just as expensive. You can also opt for the lame wireless wheel Microsoft thinks people want.
