Krazy. We want iBook G5's!!!!!!

sweet. i want a G5 laptop.. whenever that comes out ... Maybe by the time i am starting college, (in 2 years) it will be standard equipment i would like that a lot later-

my bro is buying the G4 laptop within the next few weeks 👍.

As for the G5 laptop, don't expect one till summer at the very earliest. The chip runs pretty darn hot and it consumes a lot of energy right now for it to be used in a portable setup.

Yeah, I'd expect G5 Powerbooks to come 2nd half of this year at the earliest, 1st half of '06 at the very latest (I think it'll come out before then though). It's anybody's guess when G5 iBooks will come though.

I'd think that since the PowerBook's just got updated, the iBook would get a minor update aswell?

Naw. When the G5 iMac was released, the G5 PowerMacs were untouched, so there's no reason to do so for the laptops. Apple usually staggers its updates.
