The next-gen MX-5 Miata thread

Kraftwerks is making a Rotrex supercharger kit for NCs and Energy Suspension will make a bushing set for them as well. As the cars get cheaper, parts will be more prevalent.

Needs more fastback.
I take it the designer didn't think much about drag or lift. If you wanna make the Miata revolutionary, try making it not the least aerodynamic car in existence.

On the contrary, it'd be the only reason to buy one over a BRZFRS

A coupe based on a miata will be as mediocre as a convertible based on the BRZFRS.
The NB coupe was far from mediocre, I doubt this one would be. I'm sold either way, but would prefer a coupe and so would everyone else that ever wanted a Miata but don't care for a convertible.

A coupe like this would be nice. But, Mazda's practicality will make it look closer to this

More hatch than boot lid, in a fixed roof. Only my opinion.

Mazda's practicality? That doesn't compute when it comes to the MX5.
I've tried a hand full of spares before I could find one that fit through the trunk opening.

Of course it's practical. Ask yourself, where would you put a spare on a motorcycle? We no need no steenking spares.

Any way, Mazda packaged the PRHT as to still keep the boot usable plus add minimal weight. Mazda could have just done away with boot space.

 Hell no, it's way too hot for a convertible.

I would have thought by now all cars would have mirror mounted lights, they look cooler and work better.
