A perfectly good idea. That way you can keep your defroster, etc.Looks like they just pulled the rear window out of the soft top and reused it.
It is a good idea. But also a bad one. Visibility in Miatas is really crappy with the soft top roof up. One of the best things about the hardtop on my NA is that between the huge glass area and the mirrors, there are zero blind spots.A perfectly good idea. That way you can keep your defroster, etc.
But that would look terrible. This top was clearly developed in Japan where it was intended to be used on the track where you'll also be wearing a helmet and will have virtually no rearward visibility anyway. Japan doesn't make sissy products for street softies, you know that. Y'all Europeans need to get right. Stop putting racing stripes and rubberband tires on hatchbacks and thinking you own a race car because you're a casual Formula 1 fan.It is a good idea. But also a bad one. For the cost that carbonfibre top will probably sell for, I'm sure they could have thrown in a couple of simple quarter windows at the very least.

I thought that the MX-5 was exactly that, with all its luxury features, such as a roof, and a radio, and doors.Japan doesn't make sissy products for street softies, you know that. Y'all Europeans need to get right.
The Miata was originally and is still designed primarily for the American market. I was referring particularly to Japanese aftermarket manufacturers.I thought that the MX-5 was exactly that, with all its luxury features, such as a roof, and a radio, and doors.

Matt from the Smoking Tire on YouTube always has issues fitting in cars, and he tested the ND the other day and had no issues. I figured that if he can fit, anyone can. After sitting in one for a bit and watching them autocross I feel like this car is very fast but if you are like me and don't 100% fit in an MB than the ND won't work.
I'm not as big or as tall as him but I seem to have trouble fitting in carsMatt from the Smoking Tire on YouTube always has issues fitting in cars, and he tested the ND the other day and had no issues. I figured that if he can fit, anyone can.![]()
