First ND hardtop has been made (in Japan).

Needs a bigger window. The way that one is sized and shaped, looks like they pulled it off of a city bus or something and glued it in there (probably not actually far from the truth).

A perfectly good idea. That way you can keep your defroster, etc.
It is a good idea. But also a bad one. Visibility in Miatas is really crappy with the soft top roof up. One of the best things about the hardtop on my NA is that between the huge glass area and the mirrors, there are zero blind spots.

For the cost that carbonfibre top will probably sell for, I'm sure they could have thrown in a couple of simple quarter windows at the very least.

But that would look terrible. This top was clearly developed in Japan where it was intended to be used on the track where you'll also be wearing a helmet and will have virtually no rearward visibility anyway. Japan doesn't make sissy products for street softies, you know that. Y'all Europeans need to get right. Stop putting racing stripes and rubberband tires on hatchbacks and thinking you own a race car because you're a casual Formula 1 fan.

(...though our hatchbacks with stripes on would kick your RX-7's ass)

After sitting in one for a bit and watching them autocross I feel like this car is very fast but if you are like me and don't 100% fit in an MB than the ND won't work.

Matt from the Smoking Tire on YouTube always has issues fitting in cars, and he tested the ND the other day and had no issues. I figured that if he can fit, anyone can. :p

I'm not as big or as tall as him but I seem to have trouble fitting in cars :( The ND didn't have the leg room I needed. I could drive it but my NA was roomier.

I know we've already proven as much in FM6 months ago, but yep, Mariner Blue looks fantastic on it. BR Green too.

Yellow? Uh, not so much. Especially as the bumper makes it look like it's wearing braces.

The names the Japanese come up with for their tuning shops.
I'd totally have a car built by Ducks Garden.

Not keen on the kit, but I do like the yellow. Works well with the lines.

Saw a pic of the BRG car's interior on Facebook earlier today. It's basically a replica of the Eunos Roadster V-Spec, so it has a wooden steering wheel rim and gearknob. Plus some slightly naff wooden trim bits. Not quite as successful as the V-Spec, but a neat idea.

It would look good on the yellow car, too, if they kept those grille inserts red and black instead of body color.

I'm sure it'd be an uncomfortable ride, but I kind of like the second one. Not sure what went wrong with the rear wheels en route to the show, though, as they look sad in the third image.

I saw it suggested elsewhere that the setup in the second image was just so they could fit it onto a truck or something - you can see the show is still being set up in that second image, so I presume they corrected the offset for when the show opened.

That photo was taken while they were preparing the booth before the show, I believe the offset was like that so they can easily move the car

EDIT: Tree'd

EDIT2: From the actual show
