He can't apply much of what he's doing to later in life. I mean he's got a feel for the size of the ball and the geometry of the problem. But his form for is going to be completely different when he's older - so I don't that he'll be able to do that later. Plus, what if he grows up short? He's against the odds if that happens.

Still, he's going to bring home some elemetary school b-ball competition trophies for sure.

I wonder if he can do that with another kid waving his arms in his face.

Even if there's a defender in his face, he should still be pretty good. I do agree with what you said about how his skillz would be useless, once he grows up. Next MJ? Anything's possible, but it is waaaay to early to tell. I've played against some middle school kids, who can hang with guys in the 20's. Now, that's impressive. This one kid had the pass-first concept, outside shooting, crossover and everything!
