too bad that GT4 doesn't have damage modeling. then we could snicker at the driveshaft issues of Primera GT. I have personal experience of breaking one.. :O shifting up to third at 40-50mph and BANG.. it was gone.. :scared:

oh yeah, I think I'll update something today. Since it seems that others have gone even more power-crazy than I have, i think I'll stick to these cars that I have at the moment. Suspensions, downforce and LSD's might get some changes in my cars. then all I need to do is wait for the podium finish and receive the glory and fame. :sly:

Really? Explain how the B16A is more powerful then! .4 litres are giving you how much of an advantage in power? -20bhp? ;)
Don't worry about stock figures. I'm looking at current figures. ;)

And ask their neighbours how good the Primera down the local Tesco! :p
You'll have to do that for me roj:
a) We didn't get Primera's here, we got Pulsar's (same chassis basically)
b) Tesco doesn't exist down under. :p

The NSX has 281ft-lb of torque, thats all the NSX needs to wipe the floor with Nissans. :sly:
Not with that 1100kg flabby butt it's not.

I'm loving this......new rivalry. :trouble: YOU'RE GOING DOWN ROJ!! :D

You too RJ!! :p

That's right Mafs, send all these guys down to the bottom of the ladder, because I'm sending you down- prepare for the ASL ;)

Even if you have 300bhp, it wont do you good on Citta. :sly:

Next time I'm at Tesco, I'll count how many Primeras I see, and how many EG Civics. :sly:

1079kg, actually. And whats wrong with flab? Still faster than you. :sly:

You too RJ!! :p
I'm loving this too, and I'll be loving every minute of my victories against you. :D

And RJ. :p

Leo too. ;)

Edit: And you as well, nd 4 holden spd.

Oh, so I'm not considered a threat? Or maybe you just think I'm out of your league having been the second best tuner over-all in the VTC :p And Grey isn't in this one, so I'm looking pretty good ;) (Not really, I chose a lowsy AWD car, but I brought out the potential in it that's for sure, it's just........ not......... quick enough :D )

I edited you in, look! I just forgot about you being entered as well.

Aw, oh, ah, well then bring it on, I'll take you all.

You should be worried about everyone just about, not a single car that doesn't stand to do well have I seen entered yet.

I cant name everyone who has entered! You think I have the time to go back and look?!

I just mentioned a few because well, I know you lot. :sly:

Did you realise I posted the 666th reply just before. I'm doomed.

Fun Fact: A Shelby Cobra is an awesome drive around Cita, and not very slow either ;) The biggest thing letting it down is stopping distance (RC Brakes could fix that) and some traction issues (very small, FC LSD fixable)

a lot of trash talk around here, eh?

I'm loving this too, and I'll be loving every minute of my victories against you. :D

Leo too. ;)

hey, you forgot about me!! :grumpy::(:indiff:

since you all forgot about me, my Carbon Fibre Hood Team will show no mercy!!

all for fun, nothing personal :D

I'm not afraid of the Gayhaira (Honestly, I'm not. And if I misspelled it, that's your fault for entering it [I know I misspelled it], N4HS) and I ain't afraid of no bleedin' S14.

Roj's NSX scares me the most. Seriously.

I could always just get a turboed version and then see how you go being scared. ;) I have one with 425hp that can go for ya, or go back a stage and come at ya's with 370hp+.....take your pick, I've still got time to change the entry. :trouble:

270hp was more than enough to deal with that stinking S2000 T1 sector base time and I've run sub-7.50's around the 'ring with my FR entry.....it mightn't be as straight line quick as the 3 of you, but it will show you all up through the twisties. :D

Nah, I doubt it. My car with an extra 200kg on board (fine, 197kg) and stock gearing that dropped it just out of the powerband on each shift ran a 7:18 in Pyrelli's hands. Now it clears corners quicker, accelerates quicker, turns in under braking easier and stops quicker...

BRING IT ON!

MAFS is this the other thread??

and i knew it was kings queens but i liked my STYLE better and i thought it suited Mafs

Hey hey hey, quit the water works, your making me feel bad! :guilty:

Bring on your lightweights, my Red Team will crush them...

...in a fun and non-personal way. :D

Now... RX-8 Vs any Nissan... Adv. RX-8.

Integra Vs any other FWD... Adv. Integra.

But when you add RJ as the driver it ends up this way:

Anything > RX-8.

Anything > Integra.

:p There was a certain Bathurst R I could've taken out, but that would've been basically cheating.

Oh really? Well FYI Roj's NSX and my Garaiya are nearly indentical on paper, I haven't driven his yet but we get the same sector times, his has more torque, I have less weight. He can accelerate slightly quicker, so I make up in corners). And remember, no Coke sized rotary could ever scare me, especially the fugly RX-8 :p

PS- Last time I checked the Nissan GT-R owns an RX-8, and the Silvia is probably a better drift car too  (dunno about Silvia vs RX-8 on a track)

Long live the 4th place curse.

[/pay-back of mis-spelling Garaiya :sly: ]

Too bad they're different categories. :p

Probably?! :odd: Go check any drift video....# of Silvia's = 100's, # of RX8's = 0!! RX7 is a better base for that stuff anyway. ;) Don't forget the Razo Silvia S15, GT300 class race cars. ;)

And I'm still tossing up on getting a turbo version just to up the juice since Leo and RJ are unbelievers, and Roj's NSX deserves to get whooped by a puny 2.0L. :trouble:

You crazy fool, I was on your side.
*sighs*
I never wanted to talk my cars up this time, but 'lo and behold.

 We're on the same page, I mistyped what I was saying. I meant, check the circuit aswell, the Silvia's outnumber RX8's.

RX8 shells are good for drag, so aerodynamic. :)

Rotary out, V8 in for drags 💡 (I can't wait to hear RJ's response to that :D )

Even I'll disagree with that one Holdenboy. You should know being Aussie of a little group of rotors that terrorise all V8's here in Oz, the PAC Performance crew. ;)

You know... The fourth-place-curse gets broken whenever I use a rotary... Podiums occur.

Then, when I'm using a GM product or something related to GM, that drops to 5th or below...

I've given your Garaiya a spin briefly before. Where my NSX-R has you on speed your Garaiya has my NSX-R on cornering. Sector times are so similar its crazy!

It'll be interesting to see which one gets the best score overall. 👍

Just wanted to come here and tell you all about a little car called the spoon integra. :sly:
I've tuned one...
Basically, I've replaced anything I needed to replace (lsd, suspension, etc) and left the pwr at stock with oil. So it runs as the Touge Monster from TCv3 with custom settings. 👍
4 consecutive laps after the tuning finished...
L1: 1'45.?
L2: 1'45.6 (T1:41.0)
L3: 1'45.0 (T1:40.8)
L4: 1'44.091 (T1: 40.454)
L5: Incomplete

This is from a combination of tuning elements but should go to show what kind of improvements can be done with the Spoon Integra (stock was running me between 1'46 and 1'47).

Hope that serves to encourage you all with fine tuning the product and not just the power. :sly:

Btw, that's still not going to be an entry or anything (I'm not actually entering the contest with any tuned cars).

That T1 time has the edge on my EG6 somewhat, but my EG6 is much more nimble than the DC2. :sly:

Being that your EG6 has a 4.1 pwr and the spoon has a 4.6 pwr I'd say your EG6 is neither faster or more nimble. :sly:

Generally speaking though, this event is going to be very interesting for me. I've got several cars I'm really looking forward to testing.

Whatever the case, I thought 40.454 was rather impressive coming from the Spoon Integra.
