So with this HORSE (or CAR) thing you suggested Mafs, is it 1 car for all challenges or tune a different car each time? Put me down for this if it happens. :)

I feel so bored on GT4, my entries don't need any last minute tweaking. *sigh*

You're telling me, I'm now resorting to making cars in advance for Aussie Tuners, and doing 1/4 mile times. No offence Mafs, it's just not normally something I do.

Haha, I've been doing that too. I put my NSX-R on the strip, although I'm concentrating more on launching without wheelspin than the actual times. 👍 Saying that, I have been having fun with a 7.7 second Escudo. :D

I'm about to bust open a world record very soon I hope down the 1/4. Launching is always hard for me because I normally drive muscle cars with big V8s, and torque and traction don't normally go in the same sentence unless it's a sentence explaining they don't. :D

PS- Down the 1/4 mile I use TCS.

Good luck with the WR! :D:tup:

The NSX-R runs no TCS (obviously being a circuit tuned car), but the Escudo runs a TCS value of... 1! Suprisingly took it from 8.9 without TCS to 7.7  I have a FTO LM that runs 8.9 without TCS, it was actually faster than the Escudo and its not a proper drag car!

Neither is the Escudo. It's a pikes peak car. The WR is only for a small over-looked division, not the fastest 1/4 mile ever in GT4. Think classics outide of USA.

Edit: Oh yeah, we need judges people, if you feel up to it send Kent a PM about judging TCV3. You can still judge and enter if you like.

With no Pikes Peak to speak of in GT4 (Why did you remove it, PD?), the Escudo is like a soldier with no country. So, it goes to the circuit, the strip, the test course, and inflicts mass pain on weak little racing cars. :D

Classics outside of the US... like the Spitfire, Elan, etc?

Think more powerful, it has to break a 1/4 mile record. Think something I'd be happy driving.
So what about you VTiRoj, will you be a judge?

Theres no classic Holdens in GT4 is there? :p Hmmm... perhaps a Jensen Interceptor? 💡

I'll have to see about judging, my skills on Citta arent exactly "good", but I'll think about it 👍

The Jensen was too heavy but you're getting closer 👍

And believe me, if there were classic Holdens in GT4 they would have shown up in Vintage Tuner Challenge ;)

I cant think of any more classic cars of that power off the top of my head... :ouch: I'll be like "d'oh!" when I find out what it is though I bet. :dunce:

I figured as much :p

Bingo, the AC Cars 427 is the 1. I haven't actually tested yet, perhaps after I have a shave and get the PS2 from my brother today.

*from other thread*

Roj, you are right with your guess....but Toyota's are the same motored cars with FWD/RWD. Think Celica/MR2. ;)

Holdenboy, AWD = 4WD. :) And it's a Japanese concept car w/ less than 2000cc.

The Mitsubishi CZ-3 Tarmac is a 1500cc 4WD concept car from Japan. :)

YOU SUCK!!

I didn't think the clues were THAT obvious!!

Give the man a cookie. :)

Cookie! :D

The moment you said "under 2000cc", it narrowed it down to 1 concept car that was 4WD. :sly:

I never guessed an AWD car, what are you taking? :odd:
Isn't there any Suzuki Wagons with FWD?

There's the S2-Concept (Now known as Suzuki Swift '07), that's FF. But roj had it right from the word go.

I thought there were no concept cars or only production cars allowed...

Check the 1st page, 1st post of the tuner thread rules. It clearly says, any CONCEPT OR TUNER CARS MUST BE APPROVED 1ST!! I got permission for my CZ-3 before I even drove it. ;)

Now prepare for a 1.5L/400hp monster!! :trouble:

I smell a touge battle between red Mitsubishis.

Bring your damn red Evo's, baby Evo will eat them all. :p Look ma, NO WING!! That is my touge monster for real....my sprint figures make the CTR2 look slow and geared for this course precisely!! :sly:

I'm more concerned about the Primera at the moment.....got everything right except killing off this high speed power understeer (150-160km/h+!! ), but that's what tonight is for.

S14 is perfect as it sits so I've got nothing to fear with that car now. If I lose in this category it's to a better car now. ;)

My "Evo"-wing (as most knockoff kit companys call them) makes "normal" salloons *rolls eyes at your Primera* look... normal! :p

Sounds like a fun night with the 'mera. :D

Such as, my NSX-R. :sly:

I'm just playin' wit' ya, good luck to ya Mafs! :D:tup:

Roll your eyes at the Primera, it was a shopping cart before I got to it!! :sly:

Not much time's needed, like I said, it's just for the top speed understeer. ;)

Such as, my NSX-R. :sly:
The ONLY thing that V6 VTEC poptart has over my S14 is 2 more cylinders. :p

I'm just playin' wit' ya, good luck to ya Mafs! :D:tup:

I hope your not playing with me, I'd start calling you Michael Jackson then roj.:lol:

And its still a shopping cart now! Mind if I borrow it later to do some shopping? :sly:

We'll see about that. *grabs a wrench* :sly:
The ONLY thing that V6 VTEC poptart has over my S14 is 2 more cylinders. :p
Plus the neat little diffuser, the midship layout and the screaming 3.2L V6 which makes more power naturally than your puny 2L Inline-4. :dopey:
I hope your not playing with me, I'd start calling you Michael Jackson then roj.:lol:
EEEEAAAHHH!! I dont mean that kind of playing! I like you Mafs, but not in that way!

^haha LOL :lol::lol:

go VTiRoj, you can handle it, lol..,

hmm., still having problems with my CFH Team, they're not "listening" to me anymore, if you know what i mean..,

3 more days remaining (actually 2.5 days) before TCv3 starts.., anyone willing to share their feelings, thoughts, emotions about the upcoming "event of the year"?? :D

i'll start: i feel nervous, because i'm betting on cars that are hard to tune, cars that most people do not appreciate.., but hey, if they pass, other people will realize the true potential these cars hide under their sleeves.., i have both confidence and doubt in my Team, because i know there are a lot more cars better than they are.., but i still gave them a shot..,

can't wait for TCv3 to begin, i'm so nervous!! :nervous::nervous:

My Civic I feel I have extracted the best I can out of it. It handles like a proper hatch, goes like a proper hatch, its the EG6 Civic Type R in a way. I'm confident it can claim podium. The Lancer I'm a bit iffy on though. Its fast, handles well, but it didnt take much tweaking to make it good, I'm thinking I may lose out to a more finely-tuned car. The NSX-R though, its a strange one. Inside, I feel that thing is at its peak potential settings wise. I've never tuned a better car than it, faster ones yes, but not better. Not even the faster NSX-Rs I have are as sorted as this one. Call me cocky, but I have a feeling it will score highly, if not for its speed, then for its balance and control. However, it all depends on the judges. In short, I reckon I could get 2 podiums at least. :)

During TCv3 I will be tuning a new car to somewhat replace the NSX-R as my primary tuner weapon. I think its time to retire it as a tuner car, but keep it active for racing.

And its still a shopping cart now! Mind if I borrow it later to do some shopping? :sly:

What FF are you doing again?? Oh, that's right.....the 4cyl version of the VTEC poptart, the EGG Civic!! :p SR20DE > B16A my friend, you shall see this soon enough. ;)

And Civic's make better shopping carts, ask the mum's of the world!! :p

True, but your NSX has ZERO torque for a V6 since it's a poptart motor.....my 2.0L has nearly as much torque as that thing!! And the S14 is the less powerful of the two aswell, the Primera has as much torque AS the NSX.

Really? Explain how the B16A is more powerful then! .4 litres are giving you how much of an advantage in power? -20bhp? ;)

And ask their neighbours how good the Primera down the local Tesco! :p

The NSX has 281ft-lb of torque, thats all the NSX needs to wipe the floor with Nissans. :sly:
