1947 Kurtis Omohundro Comet- supposedly America's first postwar sports car.

You expected me to post something interesting? :P

It's a Buick Electra Park Avenue parked between all the F-bodies, A-Bodies, mustangs and Chevy & Ford trucks.
Brings back memories of OJs.

For those that don't know, it was pretty much high class taxis in NYC. My family only rode in one once. It was an Oldsmobile 98(most likely the Brougham). Our local taxi service weren't able to send a car to pick us up. So, my Mom called an OJ from the telephone booth. When it pulled up, the driver had his lady(wearing a fur coat) in the front passenger seat.

No doubt soul music playing, interior smelling fresh and the velour seats were plush and clean. Her jewelry clinking and quietness of the ride, are what I remember the most. Choice.

Not enough chrome.

:P

Edit: Also at least one too chicken**** to wear a mask. Probably the one who brought that TRX; that seems like an anti-masker ride.

I wasn’t wearing one cause it’s a outside event, I was staying away from people but I wear one for stores. A lot of people weren’t wearing masks.

I don't think the two-tone does much for the size of those overhangs
I'll admit the rear at least is looking like it has more backside that a Brazilian samba dancer. The front's not bad at all, though. Still, I agree with @GranTurNismo, that's a pretty sweet looking Crown Vic. Made during Ford's "Grills are for trucks only" phase.

👍 Has the proportions of a thinking man's Dodge Charger.
It's about as close a car that I absolutely don't consider to be a muscle car (due to its very, very, very large size) can get to what I consider to be a muscle car, particularly when equipped with the 440-6 and 4-speed as it was optionally available.

Edit: Criminy. I love the cars, no doubt, but I'm wanting a '70 Sport Fury GT extra double hard right now.

I'd have it in TX9 with a black vinyl top and red decals with a red interior. One of those World Products aluminum big blocks under the hood with standard 440 bore and stroke and dual quads but a bottom end and valve gear that lets it wind out the power, and a Passon 5-speed that can be bolted in directly in place of the A-883. Dreamboat.

Okay, that's enough of that. I'm really not a Mustang fan, however this Boss 302 is equipped in a way that delights me. If I could've found a Cougar Eliminator with a similarly equipped Boss 302, as the Eliminator was the only other vehicle available with the Cleveland's smaller semi-hemi sibling, I'd have posted it instead.

Aaaaanyyywaaaaayyy...the motor in this pea green pony has an Autolite in-line four-barrel atop a rare Cross Boss intake.
