im afraid im going to leave for several reasons
organization is dreadful
tracks are poor
and peanulaty systems appears flawed
for these reasons im out

This. If your internet goes off you should let everyone else race. Even better, let someone with better internet host the races.. Not have everyone move to another room, then half move half don't, then there's only a few left racing, then people quit etc etc.
 
And why you start room without telling everyone that there is room?
I miss whole #1 race (quali).
Not really interested anymore so let it be ... i'm off now from this thread.

I've taken too much crap lately in my house and here on GTP to have to waste my time on a circus anymore.

I'm usually cheery and willing to do stuff but this is the last straw :mad:
 
I have to say, Race 1 was good, but everything after that was a complete mess: 2 rooms, time schedules to hold up to, the following argument about both, fields looking to be at half size of what they were today.. I've had most (all, actually) of my publicated ideas ruined, but I gotta say this one will be in my mind for long.

If you'll excuse me, I have to practice doing SC jobs on Tokyo
 
I'll go relax on the ring in my LFA, in my lounge :(
 
I sure know what I'll do: Sleep, sleep, sleep, and think about whether or not to actually make more out of my brain than the RSRBR WRC videos :dopey:

A few days ago I had one about how Special Stage Route 5 is connected to Deep Forest by going around Grand Valley by using Route 7 to reach Trial Mountain.. Never since my childhood has a dream scared me that much! :scared:

That's what I thought, and that's just what I remember, I'm pretty sure I somehow connected it with Midfield Raceway being the forest fire you could see on Apricot Hill in GT4.. :scared:

Anyways, I'll stop posting in this thread (for the time being) and leave this:

Somehow that just always happens, I only have spot races to fall back on and those aren't even that certain! :nervous:

Edit: just for fun, I thought I'd share my championships-I-crashed list:

First off, that Formula GT World Championship. A little after I looked in there, they went away from GT5.

Second, BTCC. You can argue how much that's ruined though. Is in my opinion.

Then came the infamous WRC. Little amount of drivers, big amount of disappointment trying to organise a real rally championship just to be cr*pped on.

About same time, DTM. Roman, nuff said. 4 and counting.

Then, Clio Cup. WRC on circuits. That pretty well describes it.

Now this. 6! And I haven't yet counted things like GT: The Run, GTUnderground, Formula GT Masters and Car-Ball. In all we're above 10.

That, and time issues, is why I keep away from established series. I fear I'll be able to add it to the list.

Im about to officially end the series. I apparently no message was conveyed to hold the start by like 3 min. Whatever. Theres too many different countries to get stable connections it seems. Mort if you could, please post the race results, ill put them in, and that may be it for NRS.

Its a shame too. I figured it couldnt fakl with THREE! And mort has some of the best series ever. Why they fail is far beyond me. And unless most disagree:

That's just my luck. Remember how close I was to join GGT? You're lucky I didn't get to infect that too :lol:

I'll put up what I have some time. I need some time to clear this out of my memory.
 
The problem is that we end up running without a strong leader. What you need, is someone who's got a consistent connection, and who can ensure that the drivers are all treated fairly, equally, and that the tracks are interesting.


Sitting full-throttle for an hour is okay in a Bugatti Veyron, maybe, but definitely not in an 11 hp go-kart.
 
Mel, could YOU possibly sanction our next idea in thay case?

As for the next idea, we could possibly discuss things. I'd like to hear from rallymorten.

I don't know now. First of all I want Akasaka Grand Prix done, and after that there may be time for one championship on GT5, so a bit of prioritation to do :)

Also. FYI Mel, GGT has had it's moments as well. Not enough to shut it down but it's had it's moments.
