Mosler never made a can under the name of 'VMT 500', only 'MT 500'. So one can only assume the 'V' is in fact the Mosler logo...

The outline inside the badge looks like it's in between the 'R' of 'Mosler' and the 'M' of 'MT 500'.

Unless it's a prototype, but I doubt it.
