So, you guys are saying that you find driving ring in Enthusia more real than on GT4...
I've heard quite opposite, that the driving feel in Enthusia is a bit arcadey, compared to GT4, that you can recover easily from fast uncontrolable slides...

Well, for one thing, in GT4 it's far too difficult to recover from slides, or to even slide at all. Many people mistakenly interpret this difficulty as "realism," which I personally find distressing.

As for Enthusia, it isn't quite the most realistic sim ever made, but I'd say it's certainly the most realistic sim ever released on a console. Drifts are a little easy to pull off successfully, but only if you're familiar with how to control drifts in the first place.

Don't say it's better cause the ring is better, which i doubt, because everybody say that in GT4 ring is almost identical in measurements...

Excuse my sarcasm, but how many of those people climbed inside of their TVs and measured every inch of the course themselves? When you compare virtual laptimes and real-life laptimes on the Nürburgring, the times in Enthusia are MUCH closer than the times in GT4. See for yourself at http://nurburgring.de/?rubrik=rekorde&lang=eng 👍

I don't think Enthusia's Nurburgring is any better than GT4's but I think the more realistic times in Enthusia are due to the longer braking distance needed in Enthusia.

The brakes in GT4 seem to powerful.

I enjoy driving them both and im just learning the course but I do find the driving slightly more forgiving in the GT4 version. So I stay on the track more in GT4.

I think the Nurb track in GT4 is better, because it has greater detail. About driving physics, Enthusia is better.

So, I would like to drive the GT4 Nurb with a Enthusia car :dopey:

It's hard to say wich game gives the best "ring-experience" but I think Enthusia's is the most accurate one. In GT4 the track looks just a little bit to small compared to the cars or the cars too big compared to the track. This can clearly be seen if you look at pictures from the real thing. GT4's ring has got more bumps and details like graffiti. Compared to GT4's , Enthusia's ring looks a bit like a resurfaced one, a bit like in PGR2. What's most fun to drive ? I would give both GT4 and Enthusia a similar high score. It's down to small differences really. And it depends on what car you choose. A lot of smaller or slower cars that seem pretty boring on another track can be very much fun on the Ring.

I've never driven the ring in real life, so I can't argue how accurate either game's version of the course is. GT's has the graffitti and the bumps while Enthusia's doesn't. On the other hand, the muted color palette combined with the overcast sky and the music that seems to fit the course perfectly gives Enthusia's version of the course the edge IMO.

I've driven the 'ring in real life and the width of the track in GT4 is very, very close to reality. Its a narrow track at the best of times and the lack of surface detail on the Enthusia version is very disapointing; GT4 may have overdone a couple of the bumps, but at least they included them.

Those who find the GT4 track a little to bright, just adjust the screen brightness and contrast in the GT4 menu before you drive the 'ring (and what ever you do don't play the day-glo Forza version of the track, too bright and too wide.

You are quite right that just about any car is fun to driveon the 'ring as its such a challenging circuit, when I first got the GT4 BMW 1 Series demo the 120 and 120d were just boring on any other circuit than the 3 minute demo on the 'ring.

Yes, now I have seen a video about this year's 24 hours I have to agree that the track looks really narrow in some places and GT4's size looks more or less right in most places but some look a bit too narrow (like Hatzenbach). Enthusia's one lacks the grafitti and therefore a bit of the atmosphere of the Ring but otherwise it's nicely done too. The Ring in Forza is terrible, my biggest dissapointment of that game. Looking forward to visiting the Ring next weekend for the 4hours race!I hope we'll see more games in the future that include the Ring. GT4 has a lot of nice tracks but I rarely use them since I spend most of my tracktime in the virtual Eifel.

The 'Ring in the real life footage is even BRIGHTER than the 'Ring in GT4....so much for it always being cloudy and dark in this region of Germany. I like Enthusia so far, but the Nurburgring in GT4 is much more fun, at least for me, than the one in Enthusia.

I wasn't commenting the light-effects in GT4 wich are in my opinion nice, sunny and realistic but I was making a comment about the size of the cars compared to the track. In GT4 it sometimes looks a bit ( I really mean a bit) like the cars are a bit too big compared to the track in some places. This is a minor thing too me ( I'm still very happy with GT4's Ring) and Enthusia's Ring has the correct size everywhere. It lacks the graffiti wich is so typical these days wich gives it more the look of the 70's and 80's era.
