Hey im new to the forums and thought id let you guys know about my favorite band Superjoint ritual, im sure some of you have already been blown away by there brutallity and uncompromising image, if you havent heard these guys you must check them out. Im not sure if im allowed to post pictures up in this forum but i have thousands of live pictures of superjoint ritual id love to share with you all. I insist everyone check these guys out
 
You can post things other than SuperJoint Ritual from time to time. Just thought I'd point that out, otherwise you will become ignored by most GTP Members.

Welcome, How's it going? (I just can't stop imitating Beavis)

Superjoint Ritual is cool. Seen many music videos by them on Headbanger's Ball. I think they are Nu-Metal or Death Metal, eitherway they rule, so does Slayer.
 
SJR are pure underground thrash metal with influences of hardcore, i dont really think they fit into a genre so i just label them the best band on the planet SJR FOR LIFE
 
Sorry if i seem aggressive about them, its just there music is excellent no other band comes near them.
 
Dude, the way you talk about Superjoint Ritual is as if you worshipped the band.
I wouldn't worpship Slayer (I worpship Satan)

You like SJR, that is for sure. No one is trying to rain on your parade or anything, it's just getting tedious reading all your posts about them (blah, I don't even know why I'm reading them).

i dont mean to brag about them been the best band in the world, but i did make this thread the offical worshipping thread dedicated to SJR who else am i supposed to talk about in here. Anyway i dont want to start fights or anything

Lostprophets aren't even metal. Well, they're more on the Alternative side of Nu Metal; but that isn't metal according to my ears.

That was like... uh, when? I've said they're good before, but nothing along those lines.

Anyway, this seems like the most appropriate place to say this. Are these SuperJoint Ritual blokes anything like Pantera, seeing as that Phil bloke was the Pantera vocalist?

Well there was a time when all you listened to was Tool, although you seemed to have forgotten.

Yeah I thought they would have been good because of that, but they aren't the same style of music that pantera are.

Musically, they sound good. Phil sounds like a retard though with his SJR vocals.

Pantera > SJR

Oh I see what you mean now.

SJR is a different style of music to Pantera though. But still I like Pantera better.

Edit: I bought the Fragile a few days ago, I haven't given it a good listen yet though. Same goes for a slowly enlargening pile of cd's.

I can tolerate listening to SJR, but Pantera are still better.

I wish I had the money to buy CDs (well, I do but I'm saving for... stuff) and that CD prices weren't so ridiculously high here. :grumpy:

Actually, they sound more like a heavier version of Great Southern Trendkill.

One thing that makes me laugh about them, is half of their songs start with "1, 2, 3, 4!". :lol:

They have potential. And don't say they are too aggressive for me. Try An*l C*nt, ****...I'm Dead, The Berzerker, Devolved (latest album), Malevolent Creation (specifically "Warkult") or In Battle. I don't think SJR are too aggressive for me. Lol.

Ive heard those bands and i dont find them to have the emotion that SJR have, anal **** are a joke band they arent metal at all **** im dead = set the drum machine to 1000bpm and play fast. Please dont paste negative comments about SJR in here you obviously have a problem with true undgergound metal This is the thread to worship the allmighty SJR not the thread to Condemn the All mighty SJR. Feel free to make a thread about what you dont like about them

every post he bags them out its obvious he isnt true to the underground metal like me, sorry if i sound like im preeching but i did make this thread to introduce new members to the all mighty SJR and to worship them, how do i post pictures up. I have some pictures of phil looking angry id like to share with you
